Who is whining? There were enough men and weapons in Serb Bosnia, no need for flows across the Drina. It is simply dishonest to “proclaim” and “enforce” arms embargo and then use “humanitarian” convoys and Red Cross to arm muslim and encourage them to continue fighting. Same politics is in effect today. When Serb police found 35 kg of explosive, near site of alleged massacre in Srebrenica, Ashdown blamed Srpska police for unprofessional behavior. He ordered Interior Minister of Rep. Of Srpska to “stop engaging in speculation”,

Results of such behavior can be seen in London.

”It is not in fact possible for there to be any peace or coexistence between 'the Islamic Religion' and non-Islamic social and political institutions."
Alija Izetbegovic - “Islamic Declaration”, 1970

I agree that the UN mission was often dishonest - almost as dishonest as Milosevic and Turjman proclaiming that Serbia and Croatia weren't supplying men and material to the war in Bosnia.

As for Alija Izetbegovic, I can only speak for what I saw in Bosnia during a brief trip in 2000, and for the Bosnian Muslims that I know personally. They all seem very secular folk, more likely to drink themselves silly than pray in a mosque. Indeed Bosnians in general seemed pretty secular, nothing like what I saw last year in Egypt. If Izetbegovic really wanted an Islamic state in 1992 then he did a lousy job.
