Concerned about politics,
Well, you're certainly not going to hear ME trying to defend the mainstream media! I'm extremely angry at them right now, and have been since 2003, when they start announcing, prophesying, and in my view, HOPING for American defeat in Iraq.
As for Rather, he's an idealogue, not a journalist. Nuff said.
Still, when Bosnia-Herzogovina declared independence, it was the Serbs who invaded them. And I don't think it's wise to so easily discount all the numerous horror stories of what those Serbians did as they rolled into town after town after town. They very nearly won!
It's a bit disturbing to me to hear Americans defending the actions of a dictatorship as henious as Milosevic's.
Here's what I think is a fairly unbiased chronology of events. Draw your own conclusions.

Here's what I call a good and objective Chronology of Yugoslav crisis

Sorry. Got anything other than liberal film makers? Iraq has millions of them, but that doesn't mean their films show the true story.
There was no invasion, the Serbs were already there since that was their home.
Obviously the thuggish Bosniak man (see pic) interfered and meddled in Croatia's war - to kill the Serbs. But he has survived the alleged "genocide" at Srebrenica, which makes you wonder if he even fought there or walked out, as did many Bosnian soldiers, before the fall.
Some of the last thinks Serbs saw before they died was the mean and ugly faces of the thuggish monster Muslims, such as "Adnan" featured by the crew of this documentary who are American Jews & a Croat. Yeah like that's not biased. Even so, some truth comes through.
