The point I'd like to make is that all the libs are screaming about the 1600+ deaths over two or more years in Iraq. So, in WWII, in ONE DAY, there wre 3393 deaths, ONE DAY, mind you, and in the entire Iraq endeavor, there have been approx 1600 deaths. Libs want wars where no one dies. They are too chicken to knock WWII though (the greatest generation, hard to knock that). Besides WWII was under Roosevelt, a Dem, not as now, where Bush and his war are fair game. The hypocrisy astounds me.

It shouldn't. The libs don't care about anyone dying in Iraq, that's not what it's about. If the Marines went through and cut the throat of every baby in Iraq, the libs would howl but they wouldn't care.

They howl and they scream not because they have some disdain for violence, but because Bush represents to them a stall in creeping socialism. The agenda is, and was in the 1960s during Vietnam, to advance socialism and communism, and that's the only reason they make noise. It's not hypocrisy, it's advancing the agenda.

For those who think this is about war in Iraq, they're wrong. Look at the groups opposed to the war, they all one way or another get tied back to communist organizations.

The war in Iraq is just a means for them to challenge Bush.

A belated Welcome To Free Republic!

I almost hit the switch, but I have many dark and labyrinthine methods for smoking out trolls.

Nicely done, and a good find.

We declared war first on Japan after Pearl Harbour and
because they were allied with Germany we were automatically
at war with Germnany -- later declarations were just
perfunctory rituals.

I freely, openly, and confidently challenge anyone to find a single-JUST ONE-speech from Saddam Hussein where he didn't clearly describe that a state of war existed between the US and Iraq from 1991-2003 (c'mon, it's only something the man raved about every day-several times a day-for TWELVE YEARS!).

Not true -- Soviet Russia was not at war with Japan until the day after Hiroshima. We were not at war with Germany until Hitler's declaration.

Better make that closer to 5393, because the maggot who wrote this, failed to count those who were murdered in buildings hit by hijacked airplanes that started this conflagration.

Personally, I'd rather not see one more American son or daughter send overseas.

We have far too many Nukes sitting around doing NOTHING!

I have nothing against Arabs, or any other race of people. My beef is with an unholy religion that advocates the violent conversion or murder of people not of their faith.

The problem that most if not all countries in the middle east have is that they are all Theocracies under the Islamic Banner.

If that is the case, and if it is the policy of that government (which in most cases it is), to export terrorism to the rest of the world, then those governments must be eradicated. It's real simple unfortunately.

Either we eradicate them, or they WILL eradicate us.

There is no middle ground with them and we had better eliminate the middle ground with us, or we will see our public schools, governments etc.. praying by kneeling to the east 5 times a day.

*blush*

Well I'm not too big to admit when I have made a mistake, and I like others, jumped to confusion on this post.

My apologies to Blacktrain, ironic how this plays so similarly to what we are faced with now.

But the premise of the article is wrong. We never declared war on Nazi Germany, they declared war on us 2 days after we were hit by their Allies, the Japs.

Probably one of the more stupid moves Hitler made. There was no reason on earth for him to declare war on us.

http://www.securitywatchtower.com/archives/003415task_force_145_kills_al_qaeda_military_emir.html#trackbacks

"June 05, 2006
Task Force 145 kills al Qaeda military Emir"

"On Friday, Task Force 145 recieved intelligence on a high level target and conducted a raid near the city of Balad. Upon arriving at the scene a firefight took place, leaving wanted al-Qaida terrorist Hasayn Ali Muzabir dead. A former intelligence officer under Saddam Hussein's regime, Mizabir recently operated as an al Qaeda military Emir in the area around Samarra, and was responsible for facilitating Iraqi and foreign terrorists and provided funding for kidnapping, assassinations and bombings against Iraqi citizens and Iraqi and Coalition forces."

"Authorities suspect that Mizabir took over for Hamadi Tahki, the al Qaeda Emir of Samarra who was killed by coalition forces on 28 April 2006. One additional suspect was detained at the scene near Balad."

NOTICE THIS PART:
"A former intelligence officer under Saddam Hussein's regime, Mizabir recently operated as an al Qaeda military Emir"

Kinda adds to the idea that AQ and the IIS would never work together; no collaborative ties (see also thread IP)

This is great!

3393 Americans are dead! They died on June 6th 1944 Invading France to impose democracy on a people who should have risen up for it themselves, to fight a dictator who never attacked the US but considered himself at war with the US, and who had no cooperational ties to Japan-the nation that DID attack the US.

And how many people reading this thread got fooled?

NO ZOT!
