The joys of a 13 hour time difference and having crissed the INt'l Dateline.
It's 0550 on FRIDAY morning here.
I'm already at work too FWIW.
Yeah it's kinda hard to fight the 500lb gorilla (Gruntled and badboy) with one literary hand tied behind your back.
No, that is VERY good. As one who has to take BP meds, I'm very happy for you PJ
Heehee...I'm rather new to fr and have not really ventured off the DUFU's, other than the Viking Kitty/ZOT ping list, franksolich's Norway ping list, and the Fair Tax list. There are a lot of Freepers I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet.
But I was able to resist temptation last night, and did NOT buy cupcakes! A Jenny Craig center is supposed to call me tonight. :-)
"I have only occassionaly seen them pop in and either tell somebody to knock it off or make some kind of joke."
EXACTLY! And even then they are simple "Admin Mod"
I feel sure they HAVE to log in as that when they are in Mod Mode.
There's only ONE person I know on here that's been approached to be a mod and the ONLY reason I know that is becasue he was posting about it on another site.
Have you seen 'Sideways'? I saw it in the theater and again today...it was so wonderful!
I grew up there...so the remembering is wonderful, but the story is great!
Wine!
My angst is with the roadway system. They ARE NOT FREEWAYS as they were supposed to be, purported to be in our day when they foisted the taxation, and that for me is a hangover from California. They are Freeways. They are good roads. Oklahoma's roads are some of the worst I have ever encountered. They are perpetuual Toll roads.
BTW, don't get me talking about the new transportation bill...it's a FARCE.
But, then again, it's written by politician's.
Amity
sorry...gotta do it.
To tell you the truth, I just don't go to the flicks or watch much TV other than the History and Science stuff.
Between takin care of the Ranch and being addicted to FR, I'm pretty full up.
So give me a review.........
Two guys (and I don't have the cool graphics) spending one las week together before the other guy gets married. They go on a wine tasting trip to the So. Cal mid coast that is MARVELOUS. It is where I personnally grew up. They meet girls, they get beaten up by girls...they are bad men...but redeem themselves in the end. The countryside and the wine made it for me. It was nominated for an Academy Award. That was quickly jotted off...so don't harass me!
I'm not the attorney. Mr. Beandog's the attorney. He goes to work and makes the money. I stay home and spend the money. I think that makes me smarter than him. LOL
I use to work for him. Told him he made my life so miserable working for him that I had to marry him so I could make his life miserable. Doing a fine job of it I might add. :)
This is where homes cost in the 60's what a car costs today. This is where Reagan's ranch is. It is very interesting to see the area. Homes today cost a median $225K I auppose? I just checked on apartments...the last I had in the mid 80's was 650.00, now they run 2500.00. I don't think I'll be back, but then again, the liberalism is rampant.
Thanks for setting that up!
I just tried twice to post after registering there and I'm showing up as a guest, lol.
I'll figure it out...
You, my friend, are most wise!
Okay, I do not get why even after logging in, my posts show up as "guest." ???
I'll stop trying until I figure it out so I don't spam the board!
It was more a fit of personal failure than directed toward you. Forgive me for that. The movie is wonderful and deserved more from me.
I wonder how many of my irrelevant posts the FR mods have deleted? *snicker*
