Welcome back Bubba! I know what ya mean about sleep. I get so friggin worked up dealin with some of those wastes of humanity it takes hours for me to come down and I haven't nearly the cross to bear that you do.

Thank you ALL...Maybe for some reason I've had to come back to face all the chit I've tried for 5 yrs to forget....I will admit IU Medical Center isn't Johns Hopkins....But I'd put money they got Dr's that were trained there....

I just had surgery in April. (developed infections in 4 out of 5 of my incisions, yuck!) I had to go in 3 days before and have bloodwork done as well as paperwork and I also was given the opportunity to talk to anesthesia if I wanted to do so. I've had several surgeries and each time, I had to go in and do pre-admit forms and bloodwork.

Well, now, let's don't be too harsh on the Grand DUmbo "Skinner;" it can't be easy, being the warden of an asylum for the dangerously mentally ill (think of having to handle the DUmmie "MoPaul," for example).

But when it comes to "decision-making," he buries his head so deeply into the sand that only the soles of his feet stick out.

I would think Andy would have had some of the same pre-op things that we had. If things are getting messed up, he would have been checking to make sure he was on target for the surgery. Human nature

I think four weeks before starting chemo is normal. At least my friend's mom had breast cancer and they started the chemo about a month after the tumor was cut out.
