Let me address this ICU and the Cell phone. It may sound like hogwash, but here goes:

In addition to verifying the rules (in this case, sensible)my mother had several abdominal surgeries (4). Always in ICU. A patient is in no condition to talk on a phone. They can barely ask for ice chips. This claim of theirs is preposterous!

I didn't even consider that. That is a good question. What happened to May 10? They said it was called off at the last minute. They are really digging themselves into a bigger hole.

That's what I've been saying about my own experience with my perforated ulcer surgery. My sister, AlexistheBengalKitty says she talked to me the evening I had surgery. (My surgery lasted an hour, 5-6 inch scar and was done at 4 am.) She has said we didn't talk long and that I was obviously in a lot of pain. I sure as heck wasn't belting out show tunes or talking to just anyone. I talked to my sister because I wanted to reassure her I was ok. Of course later that night they took me to ICU.

Got me. Know wonder hospitals are so expensive today. I think hospitals were for sick people? If you're well enough to surf the net you're well enough to leave the hospital.

The first doc is a pre op document of some sort and probably was filled out by a Seattle doctor before Andy was in Boston. The 4-27 and 4-20 dates give that away. If you look at the date at the top it was faxed to 410-614-XXXX on 5-23-2005. Who is 410-614-xxxx? Are we expected to believe that is a JH fax number?

What they need show is a post op document proving cancer.

yep. If they wanted to make something up, it shouldn't have been things that so many have personal and professional experience with. Not called DUmmies for nothing. LOL

What was funny was that he was getting indignant with me and avoided answering the "cashier's check" question and the "40 minutes away" phone call question.

Not to mention the $10K "just in case" check that Scamdy supposedly had when he bounced the check.
