Just what we need. Dead telemarketers.
[This statement should in no way be construed as a desire to seee Mr. Stephenson suffer an early demise.]

Heck, I might donate $10 just for the humor and entertainment value Andy has provided. Naaahhh, I'll just save that money to go toward the DUFU book when it comes out...

Andy said "Politicize My Plight" at DU. That narrows the search. It is posted in one of the recent DUFU's and thats alot of info to look through. But I am positive he said it in a comment at DU.
To: MisterRepublican
Why wouldn't it show up in a Google search? Or did they delete the post/thread?

I find he acts and writes more like a woman than a man. He's a homo.
Excuse me . . . he's a member of the Homo-American community.

Andy said "Politicize my Plight."
What's his plight? That he can't go to ANY facility of his choosing in the U.S. and have it paid for by either the government or insurance? He could have had it paid for by the government, so what's his PLIGHT?

Swedish Medical Center At least he picked a good hospital. :-)

From Will Pitt's PDA Blog:
26 Responses to We did it. We raised the money for Andy.
Andy Stephenson says:

Will, PDA, Fellow Democrats,
I want to take just a moment to thank you all for the heroic effort you are mounting for me. I really had no idea how many people I had touched through my work. Today my mailbox was overflowing with cards and letters from people all across America wishing me well and expressing their own insurance horror stories. From many of them, came the same story, they have no health insurance. These are people who are working in jobs that dont offer insurance and the unemployed. I am lucky to have many good friends who put the call out for me. But how many other Andys are there out there? How Many Republicans as well as Democrats go without Health Care because they cannot afford it?
We pay for the healthcare of our elected officials. They have the best healthcare our nation has to offer. Is any American not worth the same level of care they recieve? What makes them different? Why would any American settle for less than the same level of care, their leaders have? To those who would say that if we went to a single payer system health care would be rationed, I say this
it is rationed now! When your child is sick or you find yourself with a major illness you should not have to choose food over a medical visit. No one should be denied medical care based on the ability to pay.
My sincerest hope is that my own personal story will help to shine the light on the plight of many many Americans. It is high time we make sure that everyone in this country has access to medical care regardless of their ability to pay.
Thanks Will for turning on the flashlight.

I just got here and have not caught up yet, But to answer your question. I asked about the when I called as whether the misspelling could be intentional an d someone have an account at Verity with the name JOhn Hopkins and the checks were deposited there. I didn't think it likely but was trying to cover all bases since she was willing to help. She told me since the name "hospital" is on the check, that would negate a person with the name john hopkins cashing it. I asked since there was a misspelling if someone could have set up an account there or with any bank under the account name JOHN hopkins hospital/without the "S". She said no, they would have to have the proper paperwork ie, business license, etc and that it would bring up a big red flag, if someone was trying to set anything up similar to the Johns Hopkins name.
I hope this helps. I also hope I just made sense, I am doing several things at once, here so don't fault my sentence structure..no time to proof LOL

All I found was Andy saying, "my own personal story will help to shine the light on the plight of many many Americans."
Not "Politicize my plight." Same meaning, different words.

Well that depends who you ask on the cancer issue. Andy and some others say no but Will says yes!
I would have to go with NO on both counts IMO.
