There is one part of the law that could get sticky though. The originating facility owns the records. They can only release records from their facility. So JH can only release the records for tests done in their site. All of the other records would have to be released from the hospitals in Washington that Andy originally went to, so even if Johns Hopkins had copies from all the previous tests, they couldn't release them since they weren't the originating facility.

I need to ask what might be a silly question. I notice a lot of people respond, when someone says they just returned from DU, "Did you shower" or "I hope you sprayed your computer with lysol". I always assumed they were being funny. Now I'm wondering, are you seriously suggesting that you should do something to protect their computer (obviously not give it a bath)?
I know it's probably a completely assinine question, but I have lots of computer "issues" and I lurk at DU a lot.
