Dang it, what did you post?
The picture is taking hours to show itself.
Excerpt from "Stand Up Next to a Mountain", by William Rivers Pitt http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/050305B.shtml
Those familiar with the fight against electronic touch-screen voting machines will know the name Andy Stephenson. Andy has spent the last several years traveling from hoot to holler and back to hoot again, trying to inform people of the dangers these machines pose to the fundamental principles of participatory democracy. He even ran for Secretary of State in Washington using this issue as the basis of his platform.
A few weeks ago, Andy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, one of the more dangerous varieties of the disease. His doctors told him he needed a Whipple procedure to get at the tumor, and only a few hospitals in America can perform this complicated procedure with the required competence. To compound the problem, Andy shares the plight of millions of others in our disgusting for-profit health care system and does not have health insurance.
A friend with connections was able to get him a slot at Johns Hopkins, one of the premier medical facilities in America that specializes in Whipple procedures. Johns Hopkins, however, required a $25,000 down-payment before they would let Andy onto an operating table. Furthermore, they required the payment immediately, and wanted another $25,000 once the surgery was done. Andy and his friends spiraled into despair as they faced this seemingly insurmountable obstacle.
And then, something remarkable happened. Friends of Andy posted the details of his plight on a few Left-leaning websites. Left-wing talk-show hosts Mike Malloy and Thom Hartmann filled their listeners in on the situation. Donations for Andy started to come in, and then pour in, and then flood in. People without jobs, and themselves without health insurance, raided their piggy banks.
Within 100 hours, Andy Stephenson had the $25,000 down-payment he needed to save his life. It came as nickels, as dimes, as dollar bills, but it came.
The moral? That which unites the Left is far, far greater than that which divides them. Yes, there are seemingly insurmountable obstacles standing in the way. Yes, frustration and despair are rampant. Yet when the righteousness, passion and strength of the Left are combined, they can stand up next to a mountain and chop it down with the edge of their hand.
Remember that.
(Don't worry, "Mr. Stephenson," we'll remember!!!)

If you're getting a red x, just scroll over the box, right-click, and hit "Show picture." Worked for me.
While the andystephenson.com website is/may be no more, Google still has a cache of it.
No, it's not that.
Everything opens up just fine.
But your bumper-sticker hasn't fully loaded onto this page, despite that it's been.....fifteen minutes unloading.
Oh, I see. Undie didn't restrict himself to the hysterical circus acts at DU. He also scammed all over, even to people stealing pennies from their kids.
Man, before this is over, he's gonna have to change his name to Scott Peterson and move to San Quentin.
12:30 comes and goes and no word from Skins. Maybe if he ignores it long enough it will just go away.
It will be blamed on Bev "Emmanuel Goldstein" Harris and her merry band of thieves, or the hated and feared FREEPERS, or most likely the all-powerful, all-knowing, omnipresent Karl Rove.
Or maybe the Bilderburgers are onto DU now. Or maybe it's all part of the infamous "Operation Mockingbird", oft cited by DUmmie EVDebs (nickname taken from American socilaist Eugene V. Debs) .
I can't see the bumper sticker either, Charles. It's just not loading.
Could the "Principal" who is posting on CU actually be none other than . . . Will Pitt? Notice Pitt's use of "Mr. Stephenson" in post 1,024 here and compare it to the CU posts of "Principal."
This deal is not only funny but a felony - When is the FBI going to start beating on Skinner's door.
I think I have the score here.
Even IF Andy has pancreatic cancer. He defrauded DU and others by not explaining his treatment options.
The "principal" pointed out to me that our social programs (medicaid) that would have paid for Andy's surgery at U of W just is not good enough for him, even though he calls for socialised medicine.
Did I miss anything important?
He's scamming people on the radio? The plot thickens....
I did a google search for "andy stephenson" pancreatic cancer and came up with like 124 sites where his situation is mentioned. I went to maybe half a dozen and they were all soliciting funds to the same three address; paypal, amazon.com, and his PO box. It's distinctly possible there is a lot more than 50k involved, unless of course, all of the DUers also visit the other 123 sites.
I think that the last names are homonyms: TFDAS is spelled as Stephenson, while the JHU guy is Stevenson. But interesting.
Wow, you'd think after the Bev Harris fiasco these people would have learned. Air America gave her all the radio time she wanted only to get burned big time. Now we have more radio Bozo's following the lemmings over the cliff.
Do these people just like beating themselves over the head with 2x4's because it feels good when they stop?
Indeed, it does. And not a peep from anybody over at DU about any of this. Something tells me their has been a blackout imposed. Nobody over there is curious at all about what's going on. Or maybe the DU Xanex is just that good.
