Perhaps I should borrow that walkie talkie that I mentioned in this DUFU edition and use it to call Mary Matalin. I think the call would go like this:
"CRACKLE! CRACKLE! Calling Mary Matalin! Calling Mary Matalin! I am calling you to let you know about the DUmmie FUnnies. It is the FUNNIEST political blog on the web as measured by the fact that it also has the BIGGEST Ping List on the Free Republic which is the BIGGEST current events forum on the Web. So lets do a deal for the DUmmie FUnnies book (with CD-ROM insert for the related comix stories). A million dollar advance plus a new set of batteries for this walkie talkie would be a good start. However, the new set of batteries is a deal breaker. I don't care if you offer me a TWO million dollar advance. Without that new set of batteries I REFUSE to let you publish the DUmmie FUnnies book.
