Worth repeating. I am OUTRAGED that Jeb Bush is letting this happen. I hope he slept soundly last night and that his stomach was full and that he was surrounded by his family.

There's adequate legal reasoning to justify it.
Same thing President Bush was told by someone at Ground Zero. Look at how accurate that weathervane still is.
This article is spot on.
And look who is advocating sending in troops- Randall Terry, Alan Keyes, Pat Buchanan and Larry Klayman.
Four people who will never be president and never get elected to ANY office.
They all want to have plugs pulled and cords stepped on, so they say. They're all a-twitter with the idea that the few bucks in their "estates" would be eaten up before their northern-living adult kids could get any of it. Plus, they don't want to be a "burden" to their adult kids who visit them once a year during beach season.
Jeb may have more of a pulse on Florida folks than one might think. If he could find a pulse on half of them, that is.

You won't find me voting for a man who doesn't have the moral courage to save a woman from being murdered.
We have all had to sit here everyday and watch as Terri is starved to death.
It's driven some people over the edge, they have resorted to violence trying to find a way to do something, anything to stop this inhumane killing of a handicapped woman.
I'm so angry and disgusted that I've been forced to participate in the practice of concentration camps.
He should have done what he needed to do and to heck with political fallout. Sometimes we are called upon to make a stand for human decency. I believe he, among others failed Terri and our Country.
BUMP
When Judge Greer ordered that the family may not introduce oral nutrition and hydration following the removal of Terris gastric feeding tube, he committed a crime that should be apparent anyone. If a Florida judge issues a decree that parents cannot give food and water to their child, Jeb Bush should not need an old man in Texas to tell him that it is wrong. If Jeb Bush was a man deserving of my continued support, he would have himself recognized the wrong and not needed anyone to tell him.
I have had a gut full of all you experts knowing what Jeb Bush should do. I suspect the great majority of you have had no more reponsibility than taking out the trash.
The Governor of my state has the OBLIGATION to OBEY the LAWS of the State of Florida. I grieve for Terri and I strongly believe the Governor does also.
It's in God's hands now. Quit trying to be little gods and seek out HIS answer.
I'm getting so tired of this in-fighting among us. This is getting us nowhere!!! Are we all really so far apart in this? No one has supported the Bushes (even going back to their father) more than I have. I still have a Bush sign at my place of business, I still drive around with a Bush sticker on my vehicle. There is no one in politics today that I like better. They are undoubtably the best out there, right now. We Republicans are our worst enemy & we shouldn't make that mistake again.
Having said that, I will have to admit that Jeb has let me down on this one. I blame Shiavo/Greer/Felos the MOST. They have evil intentions, I fear. But I blame everyone else that could possibly stop this that hasn't. You tell me Jeb has been working on this case for years???????
WTH??? They've had years to figure this out & still cannot get past this one judge??? Maybe it's time to start thinking outside of the box - the box doesn't seem to be working.
Maybe I'm a wacky pro-lifer (you betcha), but I have held my nose & voted before, for Republicans that I knew were paying lip service to me about abortion. But I do agree that this has hurt any future political plans for both of the Bushes. BUT - both of them are serving their last terms in their respective positions - AND - I think that is all the more reason they should stick to their guns & rescue Terri - DO WHATEVER IT TAKES.
There are defining moments in history that change the course & this could be one of them. We need a leader who will follow out the strength of his/her convictions. Not someone who doesn't want to rock the boat. Are you telling me the best minds in this country cannot figure this one out to save this young woman's life???
If that is true, it is already over. We might as well call ourselves Europe.
If 30 million Americans had gotten off their butts & had started standing in shopping center parking lots & along major thoroughfares in every town & city in America soliciting bottles of water for Terri, the outcome might have been different. But that wasn't convenient. It is just so much easier to sit on their butts in front of a computer monitor and Blame Bush.
Ditto. Great Post, and very true in my opinion. Reagan would have had a cow about this and Never would have flinched. Its the flinching that gets you when you are a leader. It opens up doubts. This issue is a no brainer. No decent person would allow this to happen on his watch. Jeb and George Bush are fundementally decent men, and they DID act. But they flinched on something that will now characterize our nation. It, along with issues like partial birth abortion, will define our nation and what we stand for. There is a blindness that is spreading throughout our land. An insensitivity to what is right and good, and what is wrong and heinous. I believe in right and wrong. In spiritual battles which go on outside of our view. In a Spiritually good side, and in a dark side. A dark side which feeds and thrives on the sacrafice of innocents. A dark side that packages heinous acts with wrappings of self serving false enlightment. A dark side that whispers in the ears of its unknowing followers. Tickeling thier years with flattery and proclimations of self, and toleration taken to the extreme, and intellectual pride.
My soul crys out for this poor family , I just heard Terri has passed. My sould sinks. Lord Forgive us.
