Amazing. Kills the first woman through carelessness. Not wanting to take that risk again, he buckles down and makes sure there is no way Terri escapes alive. And to top it all off - he's blind - so blind he doesn't dare drive. Has anyone even asked him whether he was able to READ the medical reports etc. that said Terri was not PVS? The fact that he may not even be able to READ evidence in Terri's favor, and STILL has sentenced her to death, is INSANE, and alone grounds for impeachment. If Terri were a mass murderer sentenced to die by a BLIND judge, she would WALK FREE.

Yes, he is elected and was elected by a large margin as recently as August 2004! We have no one to blame but ourselves, in this case Pinellas County voters, for the blight that is upon our land at the hands of the judiciary. I am so happy to be in the final portion of my life. I do not like what America has come to be in the 21st century and I frankly don't see it changing for the better. That is simply not the story history teaches. The fact that this man can be reelected in the midst of this controversy is proof positive that my concern for the country is real.

What *TICKS* me off is that Michael Schiavo's claim that Terri wouldn't have *WANTED* to live this way is *HEARSAY*. Judge Greer knows it should have been *INADMISSIBLE*, but he allowed it anyway.
That proves he is an *ACTIVIST* judge.
I pray that Bush issues an *EXECUTIVE ORDER* to save Terri *SOON*. What the *HECK* is he waiting for??

Greer said he followed the law. LOL!!!!!!!!!
Precious Heavenly Father - We are bombarding Heaven and not giving up - like that woman in Your Holy Word who kept badgering the Judge until she finally got her wish - Please save our little sister, Theresa Marie Schiavo, from out of the clutches of the evil ones who want to take her innocent life. In the Glorious Name of Jesus Christ, our Master. Amen.

In the paperwork presented, the august Greer noted that the woman had not listed any acts of violence by the man. Okay... so judges are supposed to grant injunctions, without any factual basis provided to them? Just ask for one, and blam... granted? You have to have a physical "acts of violence" and not accept someones word of a verbal threat to grant a temporary injunctions to have that person stay away from you
vs
accepting someone word even when there nothing in physical writing to grant permanent death to someone else?

She told them she would never want to be kept alive by machines. I hate to insert facts here, but it is a fact that a feeding tube is not a machine. -- Debra Saunders, SF Chronicle.

Even if it were true, it still doesn't qualify:

What do you think judges need to know to do their jobs?
How long do you think it takes to learn these things?

Threats of violence are usually good enough, at least where I live.

According to the St. Petersburg Times, in 2002 the judge offered to donate one of his kidneys to Ed Armstrong, a Clearwater lawyer and close friend. But Armstrong, who needed a transplant, found another donor.Armstrong probably preferred to die than take a kidney from that cretin.
