People across the nation are contacting the Governor's office encouraging him to utilize the Florida National Guard.
Under provisions of Florida Statute 250.28, the Governor may utilize the guard in order to execute the laws of the state when the local authorities are not able to.
Orders issued by Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer are in clear violation Article I Section 2 of the Constitution of the State of Florida.
These orders have created confusion as to what course of action is to be taken by local authorities, and has resulted in a resistance to protecting the rights of Terri Schiavo.
Under Florida Statue 250.28, the Governor is given authority to use the National Guard to prevent resistance to the execution of state laws.

You can replace a feeding tube back into it's stoma, but it has to be done rather quickly (within a hour or two) before it closes. To place a new one would require a procedure - that would technically require the consent of the next of kin - her husband.
Plus is ridiculous to demand the National Guard be pulled in to do this. Give me a break.
I don't see Jeb Bush as a profile in courage.

I am assuming evidence of her condition is timely - also this condition is not reversable.

If she is in a vegetative state (I am assuming that she is) then she is technicaly brain dead if not defacto brain dead so the 'enumerated right to life' under the Florida Consitution does not apply.
Please point me to the part of the Florida Constitution that states a brain damaged person has no right to life. Thank you.

The issue here is how far does judicial jurisdiction extend in determining the right to life of an innocent... even one who is disabled.
We have given the courts the right to decide matters of life and death in regards to murderers, but do we want a defacto writ of consent given to the courts to decide this for the disabled based on the hearsay of a guardian whose interests may or may not be aligned with those of the patient?
That's a can of worms we don't want to open. That is far greater power than we allow our elected officials to have over us. Why should a bunch of appointees be any different?
It is the approved method for allowing brain dead victims in the form of a vegetative state to expire. They are in effect brain dead with movements.

Sorry - you are deluding yourself - she is in a vegetative state - that is a fact. The reactions of her body that assume are akin to that of a baby is a condition of vegetative states - its an autoreflex.
