I'm cheering for these brave men and women who are trying to call attention to this shameful problem that our own government refuses to solve. The Border Patrol is stretched to the maximum, with "no funds" to beef it up.

We are constantly being told that there are terrorist threats, and that terrorists might be coming into America via the Mexican border. WHY don't we have adequate protection of our borders? WHY have several million foreigners crossed those borders illegally since 9/11/01? WHY are most of them still here? WHY isn't President Bush concerned about this?

I think we should change the 'unofficial' second language of the US from Spanish to Norwegian. That way we could attract more Scandanavians and fewer Mexicans.

Thirty years ago I walked into a bank near San Diego, and even as a obvious natural blonde, was greeted and talked to by the teller completely in Spanish until I told her I didn't speak it, much to her surprise.
