Madam, I am sorry; my omission.

I thought I had already "recruited" you for the "Norway ping list" some time ago. But as many on Free Republic complain about "too many pings," I add only those who ask to be on it.

The "Norway ping list" is a pale imitation, a sordid emulation, a sorry excuse of a clone, of the most-excellent, magnificent ping lists put out by P.J., Mr. Silverback, Doug from Upland, and Charles Henrickson, on their specific interests.

One cannot be too modest about the "Norway ping list."

Anyway, in all seriousness, the "Norway ping list" is a two-times a day posting of events in Norway, one of our most gallant allies in the War against Terror, with a financial and military presence in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

The "Norway ping list" got started because--believe it or not, there are real genuine authentic Norwegians (in Norway, even) in Free Republic, and one of them complained a couple of weeks ago that Free Republic is "anti-Norway."

So as to rehabilitate the image of Norway, this ping list.

Alas, nothing much happens in Norway, the Nebraska of Europe.....
