"Then Karma/Dharma holds YOU personally responsible for the actions of that government."
I'm sh-sh-shaking in my boots. /sarcasm
I'll bet the P.E.S.T. counselors and Prozac distributors will be workin' overtime for the next few days. Whewwwwwww!
"I feel a bit betrayed ... I don't get it . How can they just stand there ( all the other Dems in Washington ) stand there and be cordial like this ? Maybe I am just bitter ... "
Uh, I don't know. Maybe they are behaving like adults and not like spoiled children?
They're so full of hate they can't even admit a good thing for their interests, i.e. acceptance of gays. Drives them bats that the Republicans are the big tent party.
We never DIDN"T accept gays, we just don't accept the activists agenda, that's all!
All those who were there making fools of themselves protesting, every one of them, did just that. They should be ashamed of themselves. I know I am ashamed of them.
I don't think the left understands that one can accept without condoning.
Yeah, it's not an easy job to do...but I thought the President's speech sounded quite a bit like he supports having a "wholesale march around the world" to spread freedom.
For example, he may support regime change in North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Myanmar, or Zimbabwe...but if he wants to be consistent, then why not include one of the BIG BOYS on that list (& probably one of the worst of the worst tyrrannical nations on earth): Communist China?
He'd hafta hold his fire on that one, wouldn't he? China has nuclear weapons, an army of 2 million people (or is it more than that now?), & our economy is almost enslaved to China's cheap labor.
1. well... how many times would you pray
if you were a brainless murderer supporter? My guess is they have a hell lot to pray for.
And no doubt this individual is "Pro-Choice", and doesn't see the contradiction.
I'm surprised these people haven't gotten in trouble, I mean with taking work time to write up all these internet posts. You'd think their bosses at CNN, SeeBS, NY Times, etc... would all be upset with this personal use of the company computers instead of making up "news"....
Uh, I don't know. Maybe they are behaving like adults and not like spoiled children?
A few days ago there was a long thread on DU about new anger at Kerry. It seems that over the holidays 'ol John F'n went to a party in California where he actually spoke with Governor Arnold and Dennis Miller! The DUers went nuts. Many of them feel the only proper response to a Republican is to spit on them. There's nothing in between.
LOL! One of my first big shocks from lurking at DU is that they earnestly believe that the MSM is totally in the tank for Bush! They not only reject the idea that there is a liberal bias in the media, but contend that corporate media actively plots to help Bush and conservative causes.
DU? Like a bad restaurant...I don't go there....sure to cause indigestion.
But, they think MSM is FOR Bush? Scarrrrrry...very Scarrrry..... Hard to believe some people can have so little contact with reality.
Yes, it really is true. They have a natural bias against the concept of a corporation. Since large media outlets are owned by corporations, they are "naturally" in favor of Republicans. They don't expend much brain wattage reasoning this out.
LOL!

yeah really... if sinners couldn't touch the Bible, then no one would have a Bible... yeesh.
I took it as meaning that we will not endorse or praise terrorists as the Dems and the UN do. Obviously we can't invade 95% of the world.
Wow, these guys really hate religion.
They seem to fear freedom as well.
I wonder if they hate religion because they don't understand it and/or they fear it. I do think there's a divide in this country that may be beyond the power of any human to bridge. Let's see. Whom does that leave.......?
