OOPS.....sorry, I had talked about that so much I forgot who was on what thread.
New Year's Eve morning we drove to the nearest "big" """city""" so I could go to my favorite bookstore. The discount one that's in the next over shopping center from Barnes and Noble!!!
It's just 50 miles north of us, we went to the book store, grabbed some lunch and were back at one of our favorite spots down here by 2. We didn't last long there and so went to the Moose Lodge and met up with a bunch of friends and were home before 7:30.
We don't DO New Year's Eve - we do New Year's DAY!
Not particularly intriguing, in fact rather mundane.......but I had fun. I bought $175 worth of books and only spent $44. 8 of the 12 purchased were cookbooks.
