Yes, it's the "Astrology, Spirituality & Alternative Healing Group" over at DU. I hadn't ventured in before - but will now with your recommendation.

Kephra? I didn't think he was a teenager. I may be wrong, though.
So what's the latest on this? I'm on my husband's computer tonight, and he forbids me to go on DU on his computer. Says that site always messes his PC up, so I need to rely on y'all for info until I can get my laptop.
My first instinct is that it's a hoax, but if it's not, it is very sad.

I join you in sending condolences to Khephra's family.
Not a chance! I have spent the last 25 years supervising construction. Guys with muscles in their Sh*t. It's the quiet one's that you pay attention to. Braggarts are just that. Confront them and they go whining to their mommies. Chances are face to face this guy would wet his pants. Never met a liberal who actually wanted to take a swing. Those that did were generally to drunk to put up much of an offense. They like to look in the mirror and admire and congratulate themselves to much. after all, they are the enlightened majority don't ya know. LOL
WOW! All I can say is... but for the grace of God....
I'm so impressed at how polite and HUMAN we are at Free Republic. Here some DU person that we don't know, and probably would disagree with 99% of the time, passes away--and we feel genuine sorrow at the loss. We know that this was a real human being, and he left behind real people with real feelings who cared about him.

It looks like it's probably for real. I regret being flippant about it in earlier posts. I feel so sorry for his mother having to find him like that. There's no way of knowing how he died right now, but I hope it was quick and painless. Really makes you think about mortality...
I have no doubt he's just another Keyboard Kommando. Probably had a few drinks and started fantasizing about putting some Bushies in their place, street style...
