the Bush Administration has correctly calculated that asking the general population to sacrifice anything whatsoever would have a deleterious effect on public support for the War. To that extent, the President, while waxing endlessly about the need to fight for freedom, has not asked the American public for even token sacrifice. As long as the War has absolutely no impact on quality of life in the United States, he can hope to continue to enjoy a certain level of support. Freedom is not free it just seems like very few people are actually paying for it.**************
Zotting is too good for you.

Check out the one and only previous article on his website. It's a disgusting post election depression rant, but I found it amusing.
I think that's reason enough to ban him. Agree?/Disagree?

Thanks. Everyone always liked Skunk; and he really loved company. If there was a crowd in the living room watching TV, he would lay center-floor in front of the TV, so that all eyes were on him. He was friendly and outgoing. He was happiest around people.

Everyone on this board, no, not everyone, but I'll venture a guess at perhaps, 99% of the members on this board, will do whatever it takes to assist our brothers and sisters in the military. The other 1% are not lazy or cheap, they are unable due to family matters.
You can do your part by donating, first, to FreeRepublic, then to the USO,
insert shameless plug here(a link to which can be found on my website, which can be accessed by clicking my name).
You will also find a link to Operation Uplink, which provides phone cards to servicemen and women, so they can stay in touch with loved ones.
If you know someone overseas, put a box of stuff together and ship it out.

Ok. What's a Zot?
Is it Free Republic's equivalent of a blog?
To: TAquinas

You been here since September, and don't know what a ZOT is?
You have not been paying attention.

Kitty will wait with you until someone comes to help you.
