Despite what the naysayers are croaking, the DUmmie FUnnies book WILL be a best seller. The proof is in the fact that the DUFUs grew from ZERO in September to the BIGGEST PING list on the FR with over 500 PINGEES. Yes, a book recreating a blog has NEVER been done before. So how do the naysayers know such a book would flop when there is no precedent for this type of book. I say just the opposite. We do have a precedent---The ENORMOUS growth and popularity of the DUFUs right here on the FR, the LARGEST public forum on the Web. And if you are a literary agent or book publisher interested in a DUmmie FUnnies book, contact me at
PJ-Comix.
If you want to be updated on all the latest editions of the DUmmie FUnnies, just let me know if you want on the PING List.

[George Bush as Saruman? But wouldnt that role be more proper for Karl Rove?] now don't insult Karl. Saruman? No Karl is the one and only Sauron! It's in the eye!

Any 8 year old would have figured out that William Pitt was a con man on November 5th.
It's unfortunate that the psychos on the DU continue to buy into the BS daily.
Now, they're all keeping their BS bumper stickers for Kerry/Edwards.
They have NEVER caught on to the fact that the ONLY reason Kerry still has his medals is because Carter and Clinton restored them.
Kerry is a traitor. Get a clue...

Sheesh! Somebody's been reading too many Marvel comic books.
Nothing like listening to a loser rhapsodize about the honor and glory inherent in losing. Yeah, Gandalf, you keep right on "fighting the good fight" and "making your stand". While you're busy doing that, we'll keep right on kicking the asses of you and yours.

Anybody out there know the source of this LOTR quote?Yeah, that was Aragorn at the end of "Return of the King." Man, what a bunch of geeks and losers. They're so enraged over the "stealing" of the election, and all they can think to do is start quoting Hobbits and wizards...

[It sounds like Pitt is doing a Gandalf the Wizard impression here trying to rally the DUmmie Hobbits against the dark forces of Gondor. Proceed, Pitt, this is getting funnier and funnier
] The dark forces were from Mordor. Gondor was the good guys. But under the circumstances your statement is probably accurate with regard to Pitt rallying DU against the forces of good.

As for the marriage thing, I can sympathize. My wife left me last week.

"This is a great time to be alive. Ask yourself: What kind of time would you like to live in? "
I'd like to live in a country where the Republicans have not only the presidency; but also both houses of Congress.
Furthermore, I want to be in a world where the President of the US goes after the bad guys and brings a sense of honour to the White House....
HEY, Wait a minute
I DO live in that world

I get the distinct impression that flute tooter Pitt is suffering delusions of grandeur. I really believe he thinks great masses of people are hanging on his every word. He probably thinks his wife left because she wasn't worthy of his greatness.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times.Except Will Pitt & the rest of DU, who display their immaturity by valuing excitement over happiness. The Chinese phrase "May you live in interesting times" is a CURSE, not a blessing.
