I think it was reading glasses. Someone with good video equipment who can get close in, an expert, would have to make the call. I think it is worth it to get one to look at it. But if it cannot be 100% shown to be notes...forget it.

And if they were, wouldn't we have seen them on him?
And since he wasn't allowed to bring in anything to read... why would he need reading glasses?
It doesn't have to be "notes" to say he broke the rules. Easy to spin that as "if he can't be trusted to follow the rules of a debate (that he agreed to), how can our allies trust him to follow the rules of ANY agreement".

That was the real issue that drove McC out of the race. The vets showed up in South Carolina and went after McC big time.
When he goes after Dubya at their debate he brings up that people said untrue things about him and he blames it on Dubya. Dubya says, not true, and they were criticizing my father too.
This betrayal goes back to the first Pres. Bush
