I think so many people were so focused on "commanding" of the facts Kerry was supposed to be that they didn't really listen to his words. It was all about emotions and feelings. He said some darn scary stuff actually!

He did and by tomorrow the talk should focus on those negative points and not some magical overall performance standard: bilateral talks with the PRK, unilateral disarmament, sending more weapons into Africa, and taking a negative stance towards Russia just as they're coming over to our side in the WOT.
I agree wholeheartedly. Kerry's style might have been honed but the information that came out of his mouth was frightening. His comments about Russia, Korea, and Iran should cause great concern. He may have made his base happy, and I don't think he lost additional ground but he didn't win any new converts.
The President stood his ground and had a strong command of issues. He called Kerry on what he could without getting into the dirt with him, he did it with facts not speculation.
Good observation. I seem only to remember John Kerry's bore-ing cadence, but nothing specific.
