The position of things is that the boss of our organization has gone on vacation with his goombata. He is trying to duck a subpeona. I cannot get the ok untill he gets back. He has left me in charge of the organization, but I cannot authorize any funds untill he comes back from his meeting in Appalachin.

For those who dont know anything about Mafia history:

Joseph Barbara, a wealthy gangster operating in New York, owned the Apalachin, NY, estate that was the site of 1957's Mafia convention. Police raided the gathering, arresting most of those present (a large minority of Mafiosi managed to escape through the woods surrounding the Barbara estate). After they were apprehended, many of the 60-plus Mafiosi told authorities that they were at Barbara's home to look in on him after his recent heart attack.
