Winsome Sears for Congress Va. 3rd district

In case you have not yet heard, Virginia's 3rd district has renewed hope with the announcement of Winsome Sears run for Congress. Sears is the long awaited alternative to Virginia's current nightmare Bobby Scott.

Winsome Sears http://www.winsomesears.com/ is a breath of fresh air in a time when Virginia needs it most. Even those who are not into politics can see the mess VA. is in these days. I can't tell you how many times people have told me "I don't understand local politics", and just guess the correct candidate on election day, or "I don't vote because "they are all the same". Scary words, but true. Those days will soon be over for Virginia's 3rd district.

Mrs. Sears honesty, and down to earth, approach is enduring. Upon meeting Mrs. Sears you know within minutes she knows the 3rd district, she cares about it's people, and she is a leader on the issues of the Commonwealth. The new found excitement she has generated thus far is amazing! Virginia needs Winsome Sears, and she is clearly up to the task.

You can help Mrs. Sears in this election, in the following ways: 1. Contribute 2. Volunteer 3. Put a bumper sticker on your vehicle 4. Yard sign 5. Meet and greet 6. Write letters to newspapers or radio

Most importantly, please help me make Winsome Sears a household name in the Commonwealth. Tell your friends and family that there is a better alternative to Bobby Scott, and that better way is WINSOME SEARS 2004.

Winsome Sears ROCKS...the 3rd Congressional District was gerrymandered to insure a Lib'ral DemonRAT representative, but I honestly believe Ms. Sears has the charisma to pull off a HUGH upset!!

BTW, Thank you for coming to my party for Bush. I was scared no one but those of you I know would show up, but we had over 50 people. My recovery time should be a week. LOL

Howdy Old Dominion FReepers!!

If yer like me, you are represented by a GOPer in a safe House district, so while you may contribute and volunteer fer your GOP Congressman, it's already a foregone conclusion who's gonna win. In order to accomplish these "safe seats" fer the GOP, the GOP-controlled legislature has gerrymandered the 3rd Congressional District to be a "safe DemonRAT seat"...however, Winsome Sears is changing all that!!

I have yet to see any polling so far, but I have met Ms. Sears and she reminds me a lot of Condi Rice!! If she can pull off this upset, it will not surprise me a bit to see her become a rising GOP star...and win she can!! Her opponent, Bobby Scott, is on the FAR, FAR Left of the political spectrum and has alienated many within his district. With the House slated to become even more heavily-GOP in its makeup, why would 3rd District voters want to continue on with a powerless Socialist when they could empower Ms. Sears!!

My Congressman is Eric Cantor and I will surely be contributing to his campaign despite the fact that he's got no competition. However, I hope to assist Ms. Sears campaign in an adjoining district because I believe she will be a breath of FResh air in an area that is in need of it!!

If any of y'all feel like assisting an up-and-comer in her bid to unseat an unsavory character, please join us in helping Ms. Sears win one of the more noteworthy upsets of the political season!!
