[history]
Dear Free Republic Friends,
My old friend and brother-in-arms BADJOE has promised to warm the cockles of our hearts by publishing an expose (the truth about JimRob and Free Republic according to Joe) on the 18th of this month, which represents the one year anniversary of the date he last posted to FreeRepublic.com and started up with LibertyPost.org.
So, as I believe that only the truth can set you free, and based upon the stratergery of pre-emptive strike, I have a confession to make (before BADJOE makes it public):
I have poisoned the well.
By my sly innuendos behind the scenes.
By my intellectual ineptitude.
By not trusting those that brung me to the dance to bring me home.
By my biting every hand that fed me.
By my arrogance that causes me to think I did it all by myself.
By my stubborness not because of principle, but because of my lack of ability to see what is transpiring.
Evidenced by:
One would think that with half again as many Freepers. with a recovering economy, It would take a great deal less time to raise the necessary funds.
By this time in the June 2002 effort with a goal of $70,000 we had raised $73,000. Not because of who did the fundraising, but because the sense of purpose, of family, of comaraderie, was still present.
BADJOE rang the warning bell, but none heard.
Conclusion:
It is a sad day.
For what was once a great hope, a means of bringing together those who are willing to pay dearly in blood, sweat, and money to save this country, we all love, has been reduced to an asterisk.
So sayeth BADJOE as he promises to publish all this and much more on the 18th. He's been feverishly working on this "project" for one full year. In addition to the "truth about JimRob" BADJOE intends to further betray our trust placed in him by revealing the names of our moderators. And who knows what else?
I can hardly wait.
Is it the 18th yet? Tick, tock.

OK, I've heard the term "The Elect" before, but I disremember where... I think it was something from Paul, right? I've also heard it used in a different manner, one which I don't agree with and find deplorable - among the Christian Identity Freaks...
Anyway, I wasn't dismissing you out of hand - just, liek I said, it reminded me of something funny...

That is such a bunch of B.S. No one did anything to you on the Lynch thread, you did it all yourself. You guys intentionally trashed those threads with off-topic crap. You didn't want to discuss the topic intelligently. There were always about 6 of you doing it also, one of whom constantly posted about me without posting to me.
As soon as you disagree with people, you start insults, instead of sticking to the discussion.
Look again. The trash came from you guys.
Ugly insults at that. Chad has been very decent with you considering the things you called him (remember Timoth McVeigh?), and you call his light hearted responses trash.
Chad has not been decent, he called me a liar for no reason. And other than that always trashed any conversation I tried to have with anyone with off-topic trash.
Everyone else can see his attempts at humor, what don't you try it sometime, it can diffuse things.
His purpose was to trash the thread and to try to aggravate. He said so himself.

I smell replacement theology.No, it's a simple reading:
Rom 9:4 Who are Israelites; to whom [pertaineth] the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service [of God], and the promises;
Rom 9:5 Whose [are] the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ [came], who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they [are] not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Rom 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, [are they] all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
Rom 9:8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these [are] not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Actually, here is an interesting passage from the Cherokee Creation Story:After the plants and the animals, men began to come to the earth. At first there was only one man and one woman. He hit her with a fish. In seven days a little child came down to the earth.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm guessing it wasn't a "Fish" he hit her with...

Cherokee Creation Story
The Cherokee believe that in the beginning all living things lived and dwelled above in the sky - Galun' lati. Galun'lati was above the sky vault. But after awhile the sky vault began to be crowded with all the people and animals. Finally someone asked what was below the ocean that they could see from their home in the sky.
At last Dayuni'si, "Beaver's Grandchild", the little water beetle, offered to go and see if it could learn. When it flew down from the sky vault it darted in every direction over the surface of the water, but could find no firm place to rest.
The water beetle dived to the bottom of the ocean and brought up some mud which began to grow and grow. It grew and spread on every side until it became an island which we called the earth. It was afterward fastened to the sky with four giant ropes, but no one remembers who did this. Not even the oldest medicine men.
At first the earth was very flat and soft and wet. The animals were very anxious to get down to the earth so no one would be pushed off the sky vault, so they sent out different birds to see if the earth was dry enough to live on. These birds flew around over the earth until they grew very tired. But they could find no place where they didn't sink up in the soft mud. All the people and animals were very discouraged.
After a long while they decided that the earth had dried enough so they sent out the great buzzard. Now this buzzard was not an ordinary buzzard. He was the grandfather of all buzzards. He flew all over the earth, low down near the ground, and the earth was still very soft. When he reached the Cherokee Country he was very tired and his giant wings began to flap and strike the ground. When his wings struck the earth there was a valley and where they turned up again there was a mountain. The animals above, seeing this, were afraid that the whole world would be mountains so they called the grandfather buzzard back to the sky vault, but the heart of the Cherokee Country is full of mountains to this day.
When the earth was dry and the animals came down, it was still dark, so they got the sun and set it in a track to go every day across the island from east to west. At first the sun was so close that all the animals like to have burned up. Tsiska'gili, the Red Crawfish, had his shell scorched a bright red so that his meat was spoiled. And to this day the Cherokee will not eat the meat of the Red Crawfish.
The conjure men put the sun another handbreadth higher in the air but it was still too hot. They raised it another and yet again until they had raised it just under the sky arch. Then it was right and they left it so. This is why the conjurers call the highest place Gulkwa'gine Di'galun'latiyun; "the seventh height", because it is seven handbreadths above the earth.
Every day the sun goes along its track and at night returns to its starting place.
