I suspended posting some time after ALS repetitively posted the question "Are you really a professor' after I provided a link to my CV. I also hit abuse at that stage. My reason for suspending posting were a lot more than ALS's petty harassment, however. I decided the website had become useless for the sort of discussion for which it had originally been created, and the sort of petty 'he said she said' stuff we're doing now was a waste of my time. I didn't think, and still don't think, you, or ALS, or for that matter 80% of the fundies that post on these threads, have any interest in rational discussion of issues important to conservatism. I think you're here as religious zealots to drive out the infidel. What disappoints me is that it has become quite clear that others, for whom I previously had some respect, are perfectly happy to let you do your work.
I left 6/8. I returned 6/24, when it appeared momentarily that management were dealing with the problem.

You seem to be asphyxiating on your halo, Vade.

I have more to say, but this is already too long. Nice post.
Unfortunately, they appear to be circling the wagons, tho', and insisting that they can't see any disruptive or abusive behavior. Very curious how they let their own reputations get dragged down like that.

I posted this on July 6th. I don't know if the thread got pulled or not:
Behold, the full confession of a disruptor, who admits he doesn't even care about behaving in accordance with his professed religion, and whose sole mission here is disruption of our threads:
The truth is that I've been posting around FR for several years and never bothered with the infighting, UNTIL, I got fed up with the evos running rough shod over unwitting victims that simply popped in to post an opinion. They were having a field day, and why management allowed it to continue is beyond me. Having had years and years of experience in various mediums dealing with such ilk, I felt it incumbent upon me to make the "fun", the evos were having at free speech's expense, not so fun afterall. You would be surprise just how many are appreciative of that fact. ...
Any attempts to beat me over the head with the bible or guilt trips are and will remain to be of no avail. ...

Very curious how they let their own reputations get dragged down like that. It's a jihad. The opinion of the infidel doesn't count. What counts is plausible deniability.
I think you'll see a reasonable analogy in the relations between the Saudi government and the madrassahs. Americans have naively assumed that the Saudis fund extreme Wahhabism in order to buy them off from fomenting domestic insurrection. Not at all; the Saudi government and the Wahhabist clerics have the same goals; they simply pursue them by different means.
To: conservababeJen
enlightening Not really. You know it, we know it. I don't imagine it's news to anyone.

Very nice, in his own words. I know you're good at not seeing things, A-G, so this ping's for you.

I left 6/8. I returned 6/24, when it appeared momentarily that management were dealing with the problem. Further validity that Vade's assertion was incorrect. Thank you. ALS posed the question to you on 6/6 (not the 8th). You clicked abuse on the 6th and continued posting for 2 days. ALS hadn't even posted to the thread "Amazing Creatures" on 6/8. He was at work when the thread was pulled. As far as I can see, it was then that you "left".
To: Right Wing Professor
Now you're comparing "Fundy" Christians to "Wahhabism"?????????????????????????????????
To: VadeRetro
I searched for the thread "Unlocking the Mystery of Life" and I can't find it. Presumably it's one of those which were deleted as a result of the current wave of flame wars and abuse reports -- a mysterious series of events which seems to have no known cause, although it coincides exactly with the recent appearance and participation of a small group of people.

More like complete denial, brazen lying and utterly ignoring every reply.
But otherwise, dead on.

Another hypocrite choking on his fake, phony, fraudulent halo. That thread was wrought with Evos calling creationists names. It had 2 incidents where evos clicked abuse on non-abusive posts (neither of which were pulled, BTW). It was THEN that the thread was pulled.
NOW you know why.
To: VadeRetro; PatrickHenry
Are you seriously trying to claim that you and yours post respectfully?
To: ALS
This is not an adequate apology. Two months ago, I pointed out the link was on my profile. In fact, if you look at conservababeJen's #256 on this thread, you'll see it referred to.You continued to pursue this particular line of harassment, in full knowledge you'd already been answered.
An apology requires an acknowledgement of responsibility for what the apologist actually did.
To: conservababeJen
I've been here for four years, Patrick almost as long. You brought the stink with you, Babe.
To: VadeRetro
ALS in continual homosexual-innuendo mode. ALS and conservababe tag teaming, posting remarks about other freepers being "different", mocking others with pink and lavender placemarkers, referring to others as "girls".
Excuse me, but this is how Christians witness their faith?

Is their campaign against CobaltBlue still on this site, or was it in a 'disappeared' thread? That was pretty damn ugly.
To: Right Wing Professor
I suspect that thread would not have been allowed to live, but ALS, C-Jen, and Jesse were catholic-bashing upon Cobalt_Blue and Junior into the wee hours at least one night. Very, very ugly.
