I'm thinking Lord Of The Flies.
I'd like to see them try it, to tell you the truth. If they could draw all the Libertarians across the country into Wyoming then make drugs legal, then that would draw a bunch of liberals from every state into Wyoming that love drugs more than their liberal philosophy. But liberals would eventually outnumber the Libertarians and they'd end up with Wyoming being a statist hellhole where the only freedoms would be for abortion and drug use. The rest of the country would be a few degrees more conservative, maybe enough to institute a flat tax, scale down federal government, deregulation, end affirmative action racism, etc. I don't want to sound like Hillary, but if it weren't for the harm to the children (Lord of the Flies anarchy), I think it'd be a good thing for the country. :^)
Of course you must be right (ahem-sarcasm)...without being controlled by a Federal Leviathan that confiscates almost one quarter of our Gross Domestic Product, of course Americans would become a bunch of degenerates who go around killing innocent human beings...SHEEEEESH!!! No, that was the job of the Feds when The Butcher of Waco Children sat in the Oval Office not too long ago.
In reality, such an idea would work just dandy 'cept fer America would allow it to begin to flourish and then a DemonRAT Administration would find some excuse to use America's military dominance to take it over as soon as it started making America look over-regulated and sluggish in comparison.
In any event, if such a strategy were to work, Alaska would be the State to do it in, and the Republic of Alaska would need to create strong military alliances with both Russia and America...and the RofA would need to become a nuclear nation!!
Ohhh, to be in college again, where reality is but something yer parents have to deal with...LOL!!
