She is the loudest, most aggressive pro-Israel voice in Donald Trump's orbit.
So when Laura Loomer leaned in close to the President two months ago and warned him that the American public was giving up on the Jewish State, his two-word reply landed like a thunderclap, carrying an ominous message for Benjamin Netanyahu.
'You're probably going to be the last pro-Israel President we ever have,' Loomer recounted telling Trump, in an interview with the New York Times.
Trump, she says, replied: 'You're right.'
The White House pointedly did not deny the exchange. Spokeswoman Anna Kelly instead offered a boilerplate response that Israel 'has always been a great ally to the United States' and that its military was an 'incredible partner' in Iran.
Even Loomer, the far-right firebrand who has made it her mission to purge MAGA of anyone who wavers on Israel, concedes there has been a marked shift in public opinion, notably among Republicans.
She went so far as to suggest Israel should accept the elimination of US military aid, currently a $38 billion ten-year package set to expire in 2028.
'I don't foresee the GOP being as explicitly pro-Israel anymore,' Loomer told the Times. 'Whether the criticism is legitimate or not, or whether it's foreign-funded or not, it's there. And perception is reality.'
Chief among her targets is former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who disavowed Trump over the war and last month apologized to his listeners for endorsing the President.
Facing skeptical questions from MAGA-aligned college students about US support for Israel, JD Vance recently suggested his support for Jerusalem is not unequivocal.
'Israel, sometimes they have similar interests to the United States, and we’re going to work with them in that case. Sometimes, they don’t have similar interests,' he said at the University of Mississippi

How are things at the front? 😃
Not wise in the grand scheme of a limited Earthly life to mock God and the Bible, but you do you.
I Mock YOU.
Why? Indeed, because not even 100 years ago a European nation (with some complicit partners) tried to eradicate the Jews - killing women, children, and their men. It's unclear whether anyone in Europe or the US would have intervened had Germany not been hegemonic and either threatened them directly or through their war partner - Japan.
The Civil war occurred ~ 76 years before WWII, and we still rightfully speak about the role slavery played in that war. Now, however, it seems we've forgotten what happened to the Jews during WWII and are OK with people who scream 'death to Israel', shoot missiles at them, and attack the small slice of a homeland they have.
Survival of humanity, and 'civilization' are two different things. Civilization suggests an advanced stage of human social organization, with progressive recognition of human rights and the sanctity of life. If we are willing as a nation, or as a global population to turn our backs on the small slice of a Jewish state that is home to many whose family trees include those who died in concentration camps, then we are not civilized. At that point we are just self-interested. It could be argued that biologically viruses are self interested, and slime molds. So what makes us more evolved than them?
I'm convinced that some of the anti-Semitism in the US and the West is driven by a reaction to the behavior of some Western Jews who see the goy as less than them, and who live their lives as such. Epstein comes to mind, Weinstein, Madoff etc.. Then there are those who feel they have the right to dictate the direction of society, independent of the thoughts, feelings, and desires of their human brothers and sisters (Soros, Sanders, Schiff, etc., who in that manner are arguably like the Bolsheviks). It would serve us well to remember that their actions are the actions of flawed human beings - such that litter human history. They should not be the focal point for rationalization of anti-semitism.
To do justice to the importance of protecting Israel as an act of protecting human civilization would take a lot longer, and there are many much better qualified to do so. I hope they do. We need them to.
Timmy, do you have any other brilliant comments you want to share with the class?
Good point.
The islamization of Europe (and US?) does not bode well for anybody. Bad ideas hurt everyone.
Jews are not the problem. Muslims are.
Reduced support for Israel and Jews is a real problem for Jews. Maybe they can wake up and support the Republican party. Or they proceed like lemmings and support the Democrats who import the Muslims who attack the Jews.
Here’s the choice:
Support Republicans who, in the past, would not allow them into country clubs.
Or
Support Democrats who support Muslims who think Hitler did not go far enough.
Jews are supposed to be smart, but I think they are just educated.
Looney Loomer and the “I can get more clicks than you” Daily Mail.
Funny you mention Timmy.
There is No Learing the Deaf and Dumb.
At least in your case.
Indeed - and most of us are tired of hearing about it. It's spoken of so often that some people are convinced they're owed reparations for what happened to their ancestors more than a century and a half ago. Their claim is that past injustices towards their ancestors, or even to members of their race, entitle them to special treatment for all perpetuity. Effectively, you're defending a similar attitude among people whose relatives (however distant) were killed or persecuted nearly a century ago.
“nor do I see people here saying that India’s fight is our fight.”
India’s fight is our fight.
However, India can take this by themselves. Also, I don’t see India as a real asset to the US. Israel has certainly been an asset to the US in Iran and the ME generally. More of an asset than many European countries.
In summary, why are you here?
You speak in riddles white man.
Not Conservative or a cultist.
Don’t like it go tell teacher.
Karen.

Well why didn’t you just say you were an unhinged nut? Would have saved a lot of time. Just remember to lower a bucket of lotion into the pit beneath your house once in a while.
Actually, I suspect your a “libertarian”, which is just a hedonist who hates taxes.
“you’re”
Anyone who takes Larry loomer seriously should be entirely disregarded
Every point you made about the sources of our culture and accomplishments are valid - it all represents the Influence of Greco-Roman culture. If you think of Western Civilization as a magnificent mansion, it’s good to remember that it all rests on a foundation which keeps it from sagging and ultimately collapsing, to wit: the two great contributions from Jewish culture, the concept of monotheism and the Ten Commandments. Despite western civilizations sometimes ignoring those two influences in the period of 70 A.D. to 1948, the fact that they are still intact and influential as they are speaks volumes to the policy of ours that we will not let the most important underpinnings of modern civilization be overrun and destroyed by the scourge of modern life, Islam.
Ironic for someone who defends Laura Loomer to call anyone else an "unhinged nut". I guess not all "unhinged nuts" are created equal - those who support Israel get a free pass out of the lunatic asylum.
