Pregnant women are filming themselves taking Tylenol in defiance against Donald Trump's shaky claim the painkiller causes autism in children.
The president announced that doctors in the US will begin advising expectant mothers against taking the drug because of an apparent link.
Trump, 79, claimed that taking Tylenol 'is no good', adding that pregnant women should 'fight like hell' to avoid taking it, except for in cases of extreme fever.
Several moms have gone viral on TikTok for posting videos of themselves taking Tylenol in protest.
'Here's me, a PREGNANT woman, taking TYLENOL because I believe in science and not someone who has no medical background,' one mom called Grace wrote over a video of herself taking the pill and dancing.
'Quit believing everything you see and hear,' she wrote in the caption for the video, which racked up almost 30,000 likes and 305,000 views in just 17 hours.
Several studies have linked Acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, to higher rates of autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
However, the findings have not often been consistent and many doctors say it is completely safe, and even recommended, because high fevers during pregnancy can harm the mother and child.
Calley Means, an advisor to RFK Jr, shared several videos of moms taking part in the Tylenol video trend on X with the comment: 'No words'.
'Democrats are now chugging bottles of Tylenol on TikTok,' Means wrote as he shared his exasperation to his social media following.
Another mom-to-be named Natalie wrote on TikTok: 'About to take Tylenol for my headache while pregnant, because I don't take my medical advice from a man who doesn't have a degree in science, healthcare, or medicine, and who had a parasitic brain infection.

The older posters here recall the Reyes Syndrome, connected to taking baby aspirin after a fever from flu. Much older posters remember Thalidomide for morning sickness. Arms and legs were deformed. My mother never took an aspirin just in case she was pregnant. She was tough and wouldn’t chance harming a child.

No drug is completely safe. That’s why I don’t take anything unless I absolutely have to, not even Tylenol or aspirin. My wife, on the other hand, will down Tylenol or Advil (which is worse) like they’re candy. I’ve tried to tell her, but she just doesn’t take it seriously.
Just taking medication for the heck of it to film videos? Even if you don’t need it?

Some cannot take aspirin or ibuprofen for stomach reasons or bleeding issues.btgere were reports of liver damage in patients taking Acetaminophen at about 2000mg day for a short time.
Normally, the maximum daily dose is about 3,000-4,000 mg daily. Please note, many opiates painkillers contain Tylenol, so one has to figure out how much Tylenol is in the painkiller tabs
Women poisoning themselves to spite Trump shows how IDIOTIC they are. Tylenol is not indicated for children less than 2 years old. So taking it when unnecessary when pregnant is STUPID. True it is “safer” than many other OTC pain meds, but avoiding the drug if possible is smart.
And then there are the people who after a night of drinking take tylenol.
Most things are safe if taken exactly the way they are suppose to be taken. But people do not do that.
However when you are pregnant you have to be fricking careful with what you take because everything and it's cousin can harm the baby.
Hmm. When I read this, I had to ask myself “Is this for real?” But alarmingly, when I asked myself that question, it seemed irrelevant.
Because it is more likely in realty to be true than not.
In pondering the spectacle of pregnant women consuming Tylenol out of “spite” I cannot but help concluding that they are mentally ill. It would be one thing to continue to take it while pregnant and disagree with the findings, but quite another to take it and sing and dance in glee out of “spite”. She is quite willing to make a political statement on the potential health of her offspring. How sad is that?
I ask you-does anyone who engages in this type of behavior seem rational?

My heart breaks considering how damaged these people are and the harm they would do to us through us their policies if given free reign, never mind the harm they would do to their unborn child for political purposes.
