It seems journalists need to go back to elementary school to learn how to make plurals.
If I remember correctly, there were involved discussions at the Bridge World about how to refer to a couple named Bailey. The editor believed “Bailey’s” was the best way and cited examples of various usages.
That was probably 50 years ago, so perhaps things have changed since then. It’s also a distinct possibility I’m remembering this incorrectly.
Or shut off the auto-correct, at least.
