Nationally recognized conservative commentator Michael Medved says he will likely vote for Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris in November.
Appearing KIRO Newsradio, Medved said, when asked if he would vote for Harris, “I’m sort of reluctant to say it, but it’s obvious that that unless something comes out in the campaign that is very different from what was presented last night, I think that’s the right decision.”
Medved said that although the Democratic National Convention (DNC) wasn’t perfect, it was a home run.
“I think this was an epically well-arranged, well-presented convention because part of what they’re doing is trying to identify as the party of joy, the party of positivity,”
“One of the things that the Democrats did at their convention was they recaptured the flag.
I can’t think of any democratic event that has been so nakedly patriotic, with one person after another coming up and talking about how I love this country, how this is the greatest country in the world.”
Host Gee Scott asked Medved to give him two or three policies of Donald Trump that he was most excited about.
“I’m excited in the other way, I dread them. And the one that comes to mind immediately is this idea of a tariff, a tariff of 10% on everything,” Medved explained. “He’s now said he wants to put a tariff of 60% on Chinese goods. And this is not money that the company or the other country is supposed to pay. It’s money that is going to be saddled for American consumers. That’s who pays for these tariffs.”
Medved also does not agree with Trump’s appraoch to NATO. “For President Trump to say that he doesn’t care, let’s let Vladimir Putin do anything the hell he wants to NATO allies is outrageous.”

You might want to read the context on that scripture in the Bible. It’s talking about the many false churches that popped up calling themselves Christian. It still applies in our day and age.
That “scripture” is mentioned about 20 times in the Bible. You’re going to have read more, to understand the context apparently.

He’s a conservative? Last time I caught a few minutes of his show on my way to the grocery store. Didn’t hear a whole lot, but what I did I remember asking myself, “What the hell is this guy doing on the local conservative talk station?”. He is most certainly no conservative.
Before he “became a conservative”, Medved was a liberal. Apparently his conservatism was only skin deep. He’s obviously too stupid to see through that ridiculous DNC.
When I heard him several years ago, my gaydar went off scale. A Seattle “conservative.”
Nah. Neocons are neither liberal nor conservative.
They are hard to locate in the American political spectrum because there hearts are elsewhere.
What they say and do isn't focused on the nation and our well-being, but rather to bend the nation, our people and our resources, towards endless foreign wars on behalf of alien peoples.
When "conservatives" like Bush, Cheney, McCain and Romney are rising, they preach conservatism. If it looks like the left is rising, look for them over there.
Right now the main neocon focus is war with Russia and especially Iran. They are being driven mad by the possibility that a government will come to power that will end the foolishness in Ukraine and stay the hell out of the Middle East.
Our job right now, our only job, is to make their nightmare come true.
It took awhile during the Bush/Romney/McCain years, but conservatives finally figured out that Medved was not one of them, but rather a Leftist who was sowing confusion on the American Center and Right. He really has turned out to be a horrible disaster as a spokesperson and defender of conservative ideas.
I vaguely remember Medved disappearing forever ago, but I never went looking for him, which was apparently the correct choice.

Medved has been on the outs with the Salem Radio Network due to his status as the host most critical of President TRUMP on the schedule. He is no longer broadcasting in that market.

Medved is an and has always been a faux conservative. He is pink straight through and has been since his public TV days. He found it financially rewarding to pretend to be conservative for a few years.
I listened to him in the late 90s. He was good on entertainment stuff and OK on conservatism. He was local then IIRC, out of Seattle.
Haven’t heard him since. Looked him up and he started off working for Democrats. In 2016 he was a Never Trumper. Same in 2020. I guess he’s one of the 10% of the GOP that wants Trump to lose so THEY can retake the party from the rubes who have infested it!

He constantly filled up airtime with interviews of John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and his “good friend” Lanny Davis. “Insufferable” is an adjective most of his former or occasional listeners will agree upon.
