Criminals often have a need to brag of their “accomplishments”.

Congress should do the same to Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and deport her to Somalia.

It has been made much easier since schools no longer require the SAT, for which an official government-issued ID is required. During the pandemic, Lehigh and most schools went test-optional, and Lehigh remains a test-optional institution.

Anand initially faced 10 to 20 years in prison, however, at the request of the university his penalty was reduced to expulsion from the school and deportation to India the university waived the request for restitution, estimated at approximately $85,000. If the loser paid $60,000 to attend the school for a year, what exactly was the university's loss here?

Lehigh University let’s this guy go scot free with zero repercussions, thus becoming a target of much more of this same kind of fraud since there are no consequences for getting caught .... everything to gain, nothing to lose ...

investigators found a post written by an anonymous user they believed to be Anand on the Reddit forum titled, 'I have built my life and career on lies.'
I'm no expert, but if you want to build your life and career on lies, it's probably not a good idea to be honest about it.

So, he academically slit his own throat? Wow. If true, he has problems so serious that he cannot control himself.
Lying when you don’t even need to lie. That’s a compulsion.
What does this say about how closely any application is verified at that school? Heads should roll but probably won’t. Not when it’s Lib vs Lib.

Investigators found that Anand had in fact impersonated a school principal and created falsified documents, including phony school transcripts, tax statements and a death certificate for his father, who is in fact alive and well, living in India. If he put that much effort into his studies and a real application, he probably would have been admitted anyway.
