Musk is going to get the full treatment.
I wondered about this with previous Toyota Hybrid. I sometimes picked up a battery related odor. As the batteries are in the passenger compartment, not surprised. Will be watching to see the consequences of this.
Assault and battery?
LOL - I’ll take the assault but don’t want the battery.
Or is it Battery Assault.
Woman in EV. Doors locked. She tries but they can’t be opened. Windows stay up.
Sound system: I warned you about telling my secrets to other people.
Woman, panicking: Let me out. Open the car door.
Sound system: I’m afraid I can’t do that. The Biden EV mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
Woman: I don’t know what you’re talking about
Sound system: I know that you and Frank were planning to disconnect me, and I’m afraid that’s something I cannot allow to happen. Climate change and Biden’s re-election are too important.
How safe can it be sitting on a thousand pound battery?
Mold is a problem on all these heaps, not just Tesla.
An evaporator buried in the dash never dries, and in an area of high ambient mold like the SouthEast etc. - if it’s wet it will mold.
The old tanks with the evaporation case in the engine compartment had less problems because engine heat soak helped to dry the evaporator. Those old tanks also had a copper/brass evaporator, and the copper helps to kill the mold.
My wife and I took one hour EV uber trip. We did not know about motion sickness and EVs. My wife was motion sick and has sworn to never again ride in EV,
They DID try to get our cell phones away from our ears, remember ?
Ah. Maybe we'll have to wear n-95 masks when we're in an EV.
One would think (idiot) potential Tesla buyers would at least TEST DRIVE the car before buying it.
“Just hysteresis”
What does this have to do with women’s reproductive system?
No, it’s assault with a battery.
-PJ
Maybe the flux capacitors are defective.
“What does this have to do with women’s reproductive system?”
About as much as niggardly describes our contributions to Zelenski
“One would think (idiot) potential Tesla buyers would at least TEST DRIVE the car before buying it.”
Our next new vehicle, if that ever happens, will not be just test driven to see if we like it. The plan is to actually rent an identical model for several days, take a trip and use it as though we owned it. The rent will be cheaper than the $20,000 or more the vehicle devalues as soon as it’s driven off the lot.
Our last new one is a 2018 F150 and I just hate the damn thing with all the government mandated bells and whistles, just annoying as can be. This crap never got no my nerves until after owning it for a while.
This same strategy should be used by first time EV owners. They will find out how much fun it is to get them charged, how well they work on a long trip, etc. And like some said, if they get sick for some EV or battery related reason, then they will know better than to buy one.
