I find it ironic that the same people who don't want to live near high-voltage overhead power lines because of the fear of electromagnetic waves causing all sorts of symptoms like motion sickness, dizziness and nausea, nosebleeds, hair loss and 'debilitating' body pains, will by an EV and basically cocoon themselves inside a high-voltage power source.

High voltage power lines can sometimes yield corona discharge. I’m sure EVs don’t run at anywhere near 100-500 KV.
