Perhaps I’m in the minority, but I think a big part of this little incident was the guy’s compulsion to “call out” his sister’s behavior and text her and explain to her that she was out of line and that her social behavior ought to be better.
Is that really necessary?
We are adults. Adults don’t change. If she’s a jerk, she will stay a jerk. Being a male “Karen” and lecturing her about her apparent shortcomings is just a way for this guy to feel better about himself and how he “stands up for his wife”.
Seems like that both brother and sister are sort of jerks. Just roll with it, man. Let people be people. You don’t have to straighten out everyone you see.
Well, I don’t like when spouses won’t stick up for their spouse, and let their family go after the spouse.
Stupidity and ignorance are contagious diseases. Both the husband and the sister are infected.
If it was said about YOUR wife (even if it were true), would you just let that lie?
