I noticed that I have the dubious distinction of being the last man to receive a post from Humblegunner. Seeing that I feel sort of like a Giovanni Martini of some sorts, I wanted to see if anybody has heard from our old sarcastic FRiend?

And I consider him a FRiend and he served a purpose here, calling out Vlog pimps.
He got rather rude with me a time or two, but doubt it would have gotten him banned.
I didn’t think he added anything here when he was here. Although I can understand people not liking blogs, they do sometimes add value because they cover stories for us without us having to read 30 newspapers/day and remember everything.
After all these years, FR still has Kamala-level IQ posters who don’t get the joke. He probably quit in disgust at the decline.

a bit over a decade ago he really got rolling and drove people (and donations) from the site. Jim more or less said he was on HG’s side in whatever so that was that.
as far as net negative karma/impact on an online community, he has to have the high score here.
I do not want to know where he is. He went after posts for no reason.

And Tijeras_Slim always kept us in salsa for the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoots. I only attended a handful of those, but it was always a good time.
And Texas Cowboy (cob_1 in the early days) was at the first few FReeper events I attended. He was such a love.

Every time I saw a post coming from him, that is what I saw.
Too many issues and anger at something.
All I ever saw over the years was insults and ill humor.
If you weren’t insulted by humblegunner, you were never a freeper.
He dressed me down several times. At first I was puzzled, then after reading other posts, it was his every day demeanor.
My only claim to FR fame is posting to a blog-pimping thread before HG did. One of my finer moments.
