I thought ghosting was - you stop replying to texts and calls for no reason. Basically saying “no” without saying no and leaving the interested-in-dating party hanging.

Back in the late 70’s (I was 17) I ‘ghosted’ a guy. He called for a second date. The first date was a disaster. I called him, ‘Mr. Hands’ and he just about sucked my lungs out with his goodnight kiss! Ugh!
I told my Mom to tell him I wasn’t home, LOL!
