Kaytlin Reedy-Rogier is named on Washington University in St. Louis's website as a co-lead, community engagement, in the Understanding Systemic Racism Team.
In a lecture obtained by Fox News, which they said was delivered recently, Reedy-Rogier tells a class of medical students their profession is inherently racist.
'We are very firm in race being a social construct, and that that has implications for how we practice medicine,' Reedy-Rogier said.
'That has implications for how we understand research, and that has implications for how we understand health disparity.
'And so when we are asking you all to engage in this, we're really asking you to think about your own identities, and what that means to be anti-racist, which is an active stance in medicine that we know has a really bad racism issue.'
In a confusing warning to students, she said she was 'always' open to hearing an opposing point of view, but then told them she would not tolerate dissent.
'I have a really hard time being neutral around issues of systemic oppression,' she said.
'So oftentimes you will know how I feel.
'This does not mean that I am opposed to hearing other perspectives. I would like to be very clear about that: I am always willing to engage in dialogue with folks that may disagree with me. Always.
'And I will not think less of you, nor will I try to fight you or debate you.
'And in fact, if you try to fight me or debate me, I will shut that s*** down real fast.'
The lecture is part of Washington University's 'Health Equity & Justice' lessons, Fox reported, which is included in the medical school's required 'Gateway Curriculum' that was rolled out in 2020.
The faculty appears to put a strong emphasis on 'woke' training.

So when I take blood samples for testing, I need to specify if it is black or white or yellow or other?
So the analysis will be more ‘medical’?
Another reason not to trust anything in the healthcare system. Its completely effed up with these docs and nurses, insurance and govt, and really just needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.
I have not seen a White Male MD in over 20 years - all Chinese and Indian Doctors at my local Hospital. Not sure where she sees racism...

Considering that modern medicine was overwhelmingly created by White males, maybe it is time for all non-Whites to be summarily expelled and like you said, witch doctors and shamans for them.

Once upon a time "race" was based on indelible characteristics of the individual. Now it is a mental condition, according to this woman.
