An “exuberant” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) celebrated the new 51-49 Senate on Wednesday, after congratulating Democrat Raphael Warnock on his victory in the Georgia Senate runoff. […]
Schumer spoke about bipartisanship, making it clear that means Republicans must go along with the Democrat agenda: “Turn left, Republicans! Or at least, don’t turn hard right,” Schumer said, as he and his fellow Democrats laughed. […]
“One of the things I hope to do as leader is, even in this new electoral climate, is reach out to Republicans. There are a good number of Republicans in the Senate and the House who are not MAGA Republicans — who know that if the Republican Party follows the hard right and the extreme members in their caucuses, that they’ll continue to lose ground as they lost ground in 2020 and they lost ground in 2022, and in 2018 in the House.” …

GOP turned left in the early 70s and it’s never fully turned back.
Franklin Roosevelt’s rapid conversion from Constitutionalism to the doctrine of unlimited government is an oft-told story. But I am here concerned not so much by the abandonment of states’ rights by the national Democratic Party — an event that occurred some years ago when that party was captured by the socialist ideologues in and about the labor movement — as by the unmistakable tendency of the Republican Party to adopt the same course. […] Thus, the cornerstone of the Republic, our chief bulwark against the encroachment (on) individual freedom by Big Government, is fast disappearing under the piling sands of absolutism. Before the 1970s, actually.
The Republican Party, to be sure, gives lip service to states’ rights. We often talk about “returning to the states their rightful powers”; the Administration has even gone so far as to sponsor a federal-state conference on the problem. But deeds are what count, and I regret to say that in actual practice, the Republican Party, like the Democratic Party, summons the coercive power of the federal government whenever national leaders conclude that the states are not performing satisfactorily. …

Fight the RINOs to make the Republican Party yours, or fight both parties.
Only time Schumer ‘reaches out’ is when he is planting a knife in someone’s back.
Sometimes I wonder if most Democrats realize the massive army of zombies they are enabling and accommodating.
My advice to Der Kleine Fuhrer Schmer. Eff Ewe, Nazi boy.
Schumer is the proud descendant of Bolshevik scum from the Pale of SEttlement!
And an Eisenhower-led GOP not wanting to see what the McCarthy investigation of State Department and even Armed Forces leadership might turn up.
And candidates Wendell Willkie and Alf Landon, the Mitt Romney and John McCain of their day.
Yes, let’s face it: the last time the GOP was a party of freedom & liberty was the mid-1920s.
Wishing he drops dead as one of the “died suddenly” statistics.
Maybe Joe Machin will flip, the Dems screwed him.
Republican Governors who copy Florida’s DeSantis - and his war on voter fraud - will be rewarded with conservative Senators being elected.
That’s how to get rid of RINO’s
Says Schumer, the leader of the party which wins through lies, censorship, and cheating...
Right. I don’t know why everyone is so worked up about one Senate vote. Even with 51 Republicans, you can assume on many issues Romney, Collins, etc go with the other side.
Worry about your red, local areas.
Yes, with the help of Repubs. Different jerseys, same team. Uniparty. It is so obvious now they don’t hide it anymore.
Dims have got the STEAL down pat in georgia .
With puppet paid workers, installed positions and bought rino look aways it is a demo machine that they will employ wherever they can get away with it.
The 2020 STEAL was on tape and nothing was done.
There, fixed it for you.
Schumer advocates giving aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States, like the Demonicrats have long done, and RINOcrats obediently follow, like the 12 Traitorcan senators who voted for the [Dis]respect for Marriage Act.
Was on my way to work this morning and thinking about our beloved Senate and who was up for re-election in 2024.
while I was pondering this an idea struck me. Why can’t conservatives get together and create a pac, then start using the money now to buy ads for billboards, tv radio etc. hammering the Dems and Rinos. Put the stuff out there 2 years early, and just keep hammering away. Dems are already there, so you don’t really need a candidate this point to promote, just keep pointing out all the flaws of those currently in office.
Oh well, just a thought
That should have read Dems and Rinos are already there.
These remarks should anger any House Republicans that are man enough to know when they’re being bitch slapped.
I don’t want bipartisanship. No reaching across the aisle. The Left has been at war with us and using ‘by any means necessary’ tactics. Knowing I’ll be disappointed by the new GOP House, I want them to fight like hell. This country is under attack on so many levels (borders, economy, military preparedness, culture, spiritual, etc.) and I want them to respond accordingly. Time for them to show what it means to be patriotic men - or step aside for those willing to.
