House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) spoke at the ribbon-cutting ceremony that opened an expanded San Francisco-Marin Food Bank on Friday and quoted from the Gospel of Matthew.
“And just the thought that children in America–the greatest country that ever existed in the history of the world—children were going to sleep—one in five children in our country—hungry at night. How could that be?” said Pelosi.
“How can that be when you're a country of faith?” she said. “A country of faith, and the Bible tells us, ‘When as I was hungry, you fed me.’ ‘You fed me.’” …

And 20 percent of children go to bed hungry in this country? Really?
Satan twists and abuses the Word of God also.
Oh the devil correctly quotes scripture here.
But doesn’t heed it with actual policy.
How’s the energy situation in the USA Nancy?
Can you bake bread without heat?
Regards,
The kids in the areas I’m sure she’s referring to, are fat little turds that look plenty well fed. They also have Apple cell phones, gold watches, gold teeth and $300 sneakers.
Because a POS Democrat Speaker of the House has been spending trillions of dollars we don't have like drunken whore, like a drunken whore.
Let us feed the children so we can mutilate their genitalia and groom them for old people to abuse.
How does the food bank work, anyway. Pardon my ignorance, but does the food bank take food to 20% of the children at night so they can sleep satiated?
God knows what is in her dark heart. She can lie her botoxed face off to us, but she can’t lie to God.
He lets her continue to convict herself.
As someone who knows, they don’t go to bed because they’re so picky about dinner that they go to bed hungry.
Half the country is obese, I doubt that many kids are going to bed hungry
“And just the thought that children in America–the greatest country that ever existed in the history of the world—children were going to sleep—one in five children in our country—hungry at night. How could that be?” said Pelosi. “Because it is simply not the case, though obesity is. Thus what is claimed is that of "food insecurity" support for which is based on contrived questions (see thread) that simply do not translate into going hungry. One example:
1. "We worried whether our food would run out before we got money to buy more." Was that often, sometimes, or never true for you in the last 12 months?
Meaning in the context of the survey, that 5.6% of households were worried (at least once vs. "never") during the last year that their food - which can easily mean certain food ("there's nothing to eat" said Sally staring into the refrigerator that contained various items) - would run out before they got money to buy more. Most any persons could say yes to this question, as worded, for it could even refer to being worried about not having enough one day out of 365!
If these kids existed, which they don’t, Nancy would gather their fragile wasted bodies together for a photo shoot. Show us these starved by kids, Nancy. Let’s look at why they’re hungry. Let’s see why kids, if any, who live in an ocean of free money and free food are “going to bed hungry “.
It’s like the tooth fairy. Children wake up in the middle of the night, look under their pillows and ..........
Feed the children ... fine
Feed the bloated bureaucracy so it can grow more bloated ... not so fine

Thats not a recipe for taxing/confiscating the absolute snot out of people and piddling some of it back to people in the form of handouts. While your other policies work to eff the economy up and cause the business world to shed jobs in record numbers. And punitively use the tax code to punish those who are succeeding. All while the politicians like her use insider knowledge to get rich off their schemes.
Take some food from all the obese children (gotta be more than 20%) and give it to the hungry kids.
We have the richest poor people on earth.
