A pregnant woman who feared she was having a miscarriage was stopped from going to the emergency room for 20 minutes by an officer after her husband honked at him for blocking the hospital entrance with his car.
Kevin Enciso was driving his pregnant wife Sabrina, 32, to Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida on doctor's orders because she was in pain from a car accident she was involved in the day before.
But as they approached the hospital in 100F heat on July 28, they found two Miami-Dade cop cars blocking the parking lot entrance as the officers had a chat.
Father-to-be Kevin, 28, decided to honk at the distracted deputies in a bid to rush his wife inside. One officer swiftly moved out of the way while the other decided to conduct a traffic stop.
And despite behind just a few hundred yards from the hospital entrance and in the middle of a medical emergency, the couple were instead interrogated by the officer for 20 minutes - who brushed off Sabrina's concerns since she was still 'breathing.'
It was only after first responders took tearful Sabrina's blood pressure, which was 'sky rocketing,' that the police officers let her pass through and enter the emergency ward.
Sabrina told DailyMail.com that at the time, she was only seven weeks into her pregnancy and had suffered a miscarriage just last year - hence her panic and urgency when she was rushed to the hospital.
After spending multiple hours in the ER following the ordeal, she found out that she was thankfully still pregnant and was in fact expecting twins

If the story is accurate and nobody died you wouldn’t be on the jury.
There’s no such thing as civility anymore in this country. When my daughter was 3 years old, a belligerent female cop, I’m also a female, used her cruiser to almost run me off the road. She screamed at me she would be after me seeing me buy a pack of cigarettes, and tapping the pack in my vehicle while driving.
“You light up with that child in the car, and I’ll pull you over and fine you!”
My first instinct was to flip her the bird, and tell her to F, herself. That would have led to maybe an accident. Me and her rolling around on the pavement like two cats, and traumatizing my daughter. Instead, I said, nicely, “yes, ma’mam and reported her later.
Reading your reply, all I can say is, I’m relieved you are retired.
And I hope to one day live in a real world like that, where cops never have to prevent civilians from wandering into a dangerous situation in an ER. .
But you just did.
you are the epitome of the people who scream and stomp and throw things as they announce they are leaving your stupid Facebook group. Yes, you are one of those.
P.S. you just read this and once more stuck your foot in your mouth. So How do you feet taste? . 🤣
Your daughter was a 3 year old belligerent cop?
You are a text book narcissis.
You don’t read well. Go back and try reading my response again. Your condition constitutes one of the “rare” exceptions I mentioned. Name calling ? How old are you?
Also can’t read. Note exception... Which is a rare case. Those cops were chatting and blocking the entrance. Obviously not the exception. But let’s kill all the folks coming in routinely by ambulance too.... Just in case, dontcha know.
So lets say a loved one of your has a heart attack, and police cars are blocking the entrance causing a twenty minute delay . Would you be so kind to the police? The police call EMS instead of letting you through, and all they can do is give you oxygen, pain killers and aspirin while the definitive treatment ( heart cath or surgery) is a few feet away. But you are not allowed there. All the while your heart muscle is dying.
Those cops should not be blocking an ER entrance and you are a complete idiot and imbecile.
Thank you for posting the video. After watching the first few minutes, it is clear the husband was purposely being a PITA, being uncooperative and was filming the cop from the get-go.
If he had immediately told the cop his wife was pregnant and had to get her to the ER his actions may have made sense. However, he aggressively refused to show his drivers license.
That was enough for me to check the article more closely and realized the story and the headline are a hit piece on the cop. I did not waste time watching the rest. Those with more patience can do that.
It is disappointing that so many FReepers got sucked in and jumped to conclusions without checking the video you posted so soon after the original post. We have to avoid following the herd without knowing all the facts.
News articles are purposefully written to create chaos and insanity. Key facts are purposefully left out in order to get the reactions we see. Many times I’ve gotten upset over an article only to later get all the facts which then change the entire incident completely. Unfortunately it’s all too easy to get sucked in.
