Yeah, a thing if you want to go to hell. That’s mark of the beast if I’ve ever seen it.

And if you run away from home they can scan you and see who your owner is.

So...if I’m at the store and run into a pal of mine and we shake hands across her basket, will I inadvertently pay for everything in it?

Not for me. It’s guaranteed that this will mysteriously and secretly gain other functions and we will not be told until one day they surprise us and tell us that it’s actually a personal identifier and links to the master database with all your financial and personal information.
I trust government like I trust a hungry snake. Come to think of it, there’s not much difference.

A completely stupid idea. When someone hacks those things they become instantly obsolete. No updates possible.

Lots of forcibly amputated hands. And lots of chip readers will surround you and steal your money(contactless). You might as well walk down the street with your money taped onto your clothes and ride a crowded bus.

It sounds a little barmy, granted, to resort to getting physically chipped to forgo carrying a wallet or minimise the risk of losing a card on a heavy night out, but it is becoming more popular as a concept.

Yeah, a thing if you want to go to hell. That’s mark of the beast if I’ve ever seen it. Wait till they declare it law. All other forms of business transacting will be illegal: cash, bartering, cards, etc.

Some days, I might be in favor of a Retinal Scan, no chips, just a retinal scan and a finger print.
No driver’s license, health care cards, pharmacy cards, , auto insurance cards and a photo id to prove that this 83 year old is over 21, and our/my monthly visit to our safety deposit box and to get 5’s and 10’s for tips from a teller.
