I know little about shrooms.
Is that real?
Can/do people freak out while on shrooms sometimes?
Or is this more marijuana gateway drug and psychological addiction nonsense? 3,000 various federal studies over 6 decades to find out, nothing.
I knew a guy that was out camping with some friends back in college. They had hiked in aways and camped. They took mushrooms. The one guy started seeing the trees start to shake back and forth violently and he took off running.
Ran off a 10’ tall rocky ledge and broke his leg. It wasn’t until daylight that they were able to carry him back down into town.
Depends on how much a person takes. I used to take small”tasters( small amount) and just had fun surfing or walking in the woods.
Others I know get serious hallucinations and freak out. Some paranoid, some happy.
Never took a lot. I was scared of losing control. This guy took too many obviously.
Google psilocybin mushrooms, they’re real but the trip is not.
“Can/do people freak out while on shrooms sometimes?”
Yes. Mushrooms are less physically impairing than alcohol but they can make emotions feel overwhelming and cause people to do irrational things in response.
Only attempt for the first time when tou are in a good mood, in a familiar place with people you trust and no possible hostile strangers. I’ve never heard of anyone having a bad trip if they took these precautions.
However I do know people that did idiotic things like ride the NYC subway alone and they never ever wanted to try again...
Yes. Too much of a psychedelic will cause a massive over load of stimulation to the brain and cause the kind of behavior described. That's just a simple medical fact. Now to make it a legal issue, well you certainly should be prosecuted for doing stupid and illegal things under any substances effects. A moral issue? I dunno,,,

Take my personal advice. Keep it that way. They are really, really not good for you.
