‘I’m still exhaling’: Swing-state voters on Biden’s 100 days [fakest ‘news’ and TDS]
Associated Press ^ | April 29, 2021 | Thomas Beaumont

Standing on the sidelines of her son’s soccer practice in this upscale suburb, Laura Hahn looked skyward for answers when asked how she would rate President Joe Biden’s first 100 days in office.

Overall, Biden is doing well, she said after a few minutes of thought. But she acknowledged her judgment is as much a feeling of relief as an analysis of accomplishments.

“I’m still exhaling,” Hahn said, referencing the tumultuous tenure of President Donald Trump. “It’s been exhausting.”

At the 100-day marker, polls show most Americans are like Hahn, giving the new president positive marks for his early performance.

But in this pocket of swing-state Wisconsin, where a surge in suburban Milwaukee helped put Biden in the White House, interviews with voters show that support for the Democratic president often falls short of adulation. Biden continues to get credit for bringing stability to the coronavirus crisis — and for not being Trump — but there are signs that goodwill only goes so far. […]

Despite these concerns, many voters said they were just enjoying the reprieve from the jaw-dropping headlines of the Trump era, now that Biden is in the White House.

MSM is a canard. If they “controlled the narrative” to the degree that you imply, then Hillary would have been elected in 2016.

The only thing that helps your “analysis” is ignoring the steal. And that makes it fall apart, with all due respect. No need to escalate it into an opus, now.

Good point. The media attacked Trump 24/7 for 4.5 years, constantly manufacturing turmoil and phony controversies at which he was the center. It was a hell of a challenge for him— one that no other president, not even Reagan or Bush 43, ever had to tolerate. Obviously, some segment of swing/independent voters were/are too stupid to understand what was happening and perceived Trump as the catalyst rather than the victim of the media-manufactured turmoil. So, yes, in retrospect, he might have taken the bait less and tried to be a little more boring. I’m 100% sure it would have helped, but it likely wouldn’t have hurt.

Meant to say. I’m NOT 100% sure it would have helped...

It's too bad that Trump didn't use Pence more often but I believe that Pence would had been effective in this role if Trump delegated the part where he takes questions from reporters. So Trump gets to make his speech. Then he leaves. Pence answers any questions media have for him. Pence is boring so he would be able to de-escalate.

They were overconfident in 2016.

The only thing that helps your “analysis” is ignoring the steal.

The election was close enough that the steal was possible. If this was '84, it wouldn't matter because it was a landslide. But it was close enough so the Democrats could manufacture extra votes in urban strongholds in several crucial states.

Repeating RINO talking points is not the same as stating the truth.

The steal happened because the election was not close in swing states and Trump was winning by a wide margin, borne out in the numbers before the steal was put into effect.

Exactly what the MSM kept repeating. And exactly what the plaintiffs wanted to show the USSC too but were not given the opportunity to.

Have a nice day.

Thousands of votes in Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Phoenix made the difference so Democrats were able to “stuff” the ballot boxes there in the middle of the night. If Trump was leading in those states by hundreds of thousands cotes, I doubt that the Democrats would had bothered to “stop counting the votes” to give themselves extra time to manufacture thousands of votes they need to steal the election. That’s just my observation. If you think, I’m wrong, that’s okay. Just my two cents worth.

If it were due to people like her, no cheating would have been as it were “necessary”.

Remember, the numbers by which Xiden “won” are statistical impossibilities. Somehow this greatly loathed career politician is the most popular POTUS in the country’s history . . .

The spurious votes were manufactured long before the count. I think that’s probably the only point here where I diverge with you; the rest is spot on.

This leftist dipstick watching her son’s soccer game-I wonder if anyone mentioned to her how the people she voted for are going to plunge her entire son’s future into a misery of Weimar Republic inflation, stagnation, depression, and death.

Effing losers.

“Despite these concerns, many voters said...”

You can always tell fake news when an AP scribbler writes “many voters said...”
