"The cure cannot be worse than the problem."
Sorry, but there is no way that I would consent to being vaccinated for this bug. Especially if Bill Gates is involved.
This virus is the last thing on my mind. What I worry about is the economy and the country falling into another Great Depression.
I think that point has been lost on most people in the who mess.
I know it was mentioned initially, which is why I remembered it, but it seems that now people are thinking it's going to prevent them from getting it.
And it may to a degree, probably more by delaying when they get it, than actually rendering them incapable of getting it.
One thing I';m pretty confident of is that what with the economy roaring along as it did, President Trump did NOT want to do anything to stop it.
I doubt he wanted to impose restrictions that would cause that to falter, but did what he felt he had to to protect lives.
Be cause as I see it, if this thing were allowed to rip through the population and overwhelm the healthcare system, the economy was in trouble on two fronts. One the lost of people to do the jobs who were sick and/or dying, people self-isolating at that point out of fear of catching it, and the healthcare system crashing from being overwhelmed.
The economy was going to take a hit either way.
Better to be able to control it and minimize the damage.
All I can do is hope and pray that come election time, that people remember how their little gubernatorial and mayoral dictators responded to this.
