That’s what NYS taxes look like. The schools suck. Common core. You have A majority of people in districts so ignorant they put and keep AOC in public office. And the legislature celebrates killing newborns.
For that kind of money.
Actually the schools in Long Island and Westchester are still way superior to anything you have in Flori-duh, but you pay five figure property taxes to live in a top district. The main reason Florida doesn’t attract successful companies or the tech industry are the horrendous schools statewide, sad to say. Keep in mind that Florida doesn’t segregate their schools by town like NY does, and instead does it by county, so even if you live in a multimillion dollar home in a gated community in Boca Raton, your kids go to school with the good kids from Pearl City or central Delray.
