Maher is, and has been, an enemy of virtually anything good and healthy in America. He’s a good example of how atheism corrupts everything in someone’s life—even, and especially, common sense.
Yes, I’ve noticed that too. Years ago, I used to watch his ‘Politically Incorrect’ show when he had entertaining guests like Ann Coulter. Whenever the subject was something degenerate: drugs, atheism, sexual deviancy, prostitution, abortion, porn... Maher was always big fan. If something was wholesome, he hated it.
Im sure the millennial generation that is working60 hours a week to pay for an overpriced mortgage in a city ridden with homeless, drugs, and crime want to know their meager investments are a political game.
The only atheist I remember who occasionally had valid points was Christopher Hitchens. I disagreed with him often, but he seemed principled in his reasoning.
An atheist who recognizes no higher power and no Reward has no problem using people, impoverishing them or killing them, to advance a position. What matters to an atheist, even when he is talking about what he wants for the future, is only the right now and so far as he can see into that future which is his own projected lifespan and only he, himself, matters because once he is gone nothing exists.
