A couple of weeks ago, I wrote: âLetâs not mince words, Donald Trump is a bigot and a racist.â
I cited a long list of incidents in which he targeted women, Latinos, African Americans, Muslims, Asians and the disabled. Hereâs what I heard back from Trumpâs defenders:
âLetâs not mince words,â somebody tweeted under the name Helios Megistos. âMilbank is an anti-white parasite and a bigoted kike supremacist.â
â[Trump] may well be a bigot and a racist,â one Michael Banfield wrote me via email. âBut one thing is certain: The only thing missing from your photo is a [vulgar word for penis] in your mouth, gay bastard.â(continued)

Since "Muslim" became a race.
I'm getting to a point where I don't give a tinker's d@mn anymore. If you are going to argue that opposing any polices just because they are favored by some particular racial group is bigotry, then you are simply encouraging bigotry, because you are making the issue deliberately about race rather than personal opinion or political preference.
We all know that the Democrats have most of the minority classes all sewed up, and therefore opposing Democrat policies is the same thing as opposing most minority opinion.
Being sane is not tantamount to feeling hate towards these groups. If you want to make it so, then you will simply encourage an eventual backlash. You will create the very hatred you seek to denounce.
The Liberal definition of “bigot”: Someone who does not worship the people who *always* vote for Dems.
Dana’s clutching his pearls again.
LOL! I guess that made him spitting mad. He probably choked on the line.
Trump and Cruz have the "dark side" really worried - here's hoping that their fears are justified.
How To Stop Donald Trump? A Lesson From Louisiana [Boston Globe alert]
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3374487/posts
So much for the establishment’s efforts to stop Donald Trump. So far, nothing’s working - not a thousand earnest [aka ‘Ernest’] think pieces or Jeb Bush’s gripes in the latest debate. Not the wrath of news anchors and late-night hosts, who still can’t resist booking Trump on their shows, but have started to get ornery during the interviews. So maybe it’s worth looking back to 1991 Louisiana, when establishment Republicans and Democrats banded together to defeat a popular, populist, problematic gubernatorial candidate named David Duke... I spoke this week to some veterans of the anti-Duke battle, who told me they’ve been talking...
[Huh. Boston Globe comparing Trump to David Duke of KKK fame. First off, the DNC only hated Duke because he was a republican. After all, Senator Byrd, a KKK Kleagle who never tired of using the ‘n’ word was mourned by the DNC — even by Clinton himself. Secondly, did black people destroy two skyscrapers filled with innocent victims? No. Foreign Islamics did. Foreign — such as immigrants. Islamic — such as those who believe in terrorist scriptures. Such ‘racism’ by a candidate is shared by all sane people.]
Dana, Dana, Dana! :-)
