The Marriage of Obama's Parents: 'In Name Only'?

So when did Ann's and Obama Sr.'s "whatever happened happened fast" wedding happen? For no apparent reason, confusion abounds among Obama's biographers over the wedding date:

1. Dreams claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were in married "in 1960"; similarly, Mendell's 2007 book claims that the couple were married "sometime in late 1960" when they "slipped off alone to the island of Maui"; and both Obamaland (2008) by Ron Jacobs (with contributor David Maraniss) and a 2007 Washington Post article claim that the two were married "late in 1960."

2. A 2007 Chicago Tribune article vaguely claims that Ann and Obama Sr. were married "six months before" Barack's birth on Aug 4, 1961 -- or, in other words, sometime in early 1961.

3. An April 2008 Time article by Amanda Ripley, as does Maraniss's August 2008 article, gives a specific date of February 2, 1961 for the wedding, apparently based on Ann's and Obama Sr.'s 1964 divorce records – mysteriously appearing on the web. But since fake documents have been known to appear on the web, Obama's biographers, Ripley and Maraniss, might want to verify the 1964 divorce documents – especially since a Feb. 2, 1961 marriage date for "Ann and Obama Sr." wasn't reported in any Honolulu Advertiser or Honolulu Star-Bulletin marriage lists from February 1961. Take the February 8, 1961 Star-Bulletin, which listed eighteen marriages from Feb. 3, Feb. 4, and Feb. 6, and no Feb. 2 marriages, and the February 7, 1961 Advertiser, which listed eleven marriages from Feb. 2 to 4, including two Feb. 2 marriages.

In 2009 Deportation officer John Sampson provided me with evidence that Obama used Equatorial Guinea, not Kenya as his place of origin. One of Obama’s half brothers was Roman Obama. It was reported that Roman died in a car accident. However, in a 1992 article, which appeared in the state of Washington, in DC and Chicago, the author quoted one Roman Obama, as a student in the University of Patrice Lumumba in Moscow, which is widely known as a hunting ground for KGB recruits among students from African, Asian and Latin American countries.

What is interesting, is that Roman Obama was the same age as Barack Obama, he had the same country of origin as Barack Obama in his Inteligator.com records and had the name of his half brother. It is also interesting that the article was changed in 1997 and the name and country of origin were changed. This seem to follow the same pattern of cover up.

His name was Obama. Some think he’s David, he’s named Roman in the article about the students at the Lumumba University written in 1992. Some think he’s the original BHO2 born in January in the US and is the child Mary baby-sat for Anna Obama. Who knows:

That’s the same Oginga Odinga who visisted Malcolm X in Atlanta in 1960, and the blacks liked him so much, they wrote a song about him.
In 2006 zero visited Kenya (for the third time according to some reports)and campaigned for Raila Odinga, son of Oginga Odinga, and when Raila lost the election, all hell broke out in Kenya and many many of the opposition and a whole lot of Christians were slaughtered. Some 5 hundred thousand people were driven from their homes. Does anyone remember?

Someone made the following derogatory comment on this thread, and try as I might, I simply cannot ignore the falsehood.

You claim extraordinary insight into the identification of online photos, but your recent spectacular misidentifications undercut that claim.

A previous comment along the lines that I had TWICE IDENTIFIED A LIVE MAN AS A DEAD WOMAN lies behind it. Allow me to set the record straight:

Freepers were asked the question 'What Do You see?' and after many attempts, as the images posted were without captions and without identification, and after writing maybe that image is of Fuddy herself, I finally reached the conclusion that this above underwater image showed Fuddy's assistant Yamamoto supporting Fuddy, whose sleeve is showing in the image.

I reached the conclusion it was Fuddy's clothing that was showing by making a comparison of the sleeve of her jacket. One image from a photograph taken on the island before the event, one image taken from the aircraft interior which showed Fuddy seated, and then the final image, distorted and faint, of the sleeve I perceived in the water, which showed some of the same pattern.

I based this conclusion also on the above-the-water image, which shows, as Yamamoto described, him holding onto Fuddy, while her knees and one shoe are visible on the surface. Therefor, all that is visble of Fuddy in the underwater image is one arm clothed in the patterned sleeve.

And that was my limited, final contribution to the identification of the series of images which were posted to that thread.

I hope that settles any idea that I can't tell a live man from a dead woman. Twice. Wet or dry. Thank you.
