you’re a very sick puppy imo - care to serve some sources with that mess of pottage?
A mess of pottage is something immediately attractive but of little value taken foolishly and carelessly in exchange for something more distant and perhaps less tangible but immensely more valuable. The phrase alludes to Esau’s sale of his birthright for a meal of lentil stew (”pottage”) in Genesis 25:2934 and connotes shortsightedness and misplaced priorities.
I’ve got plenty of sources
Do your own googling Fred
Or ignore it and keep posting material that you yourself said you’ve posted agains and again
Start at the bottom that one you have permission to link without even googling. Wife of just a guy in the neighborhood
The next one up you’ll need to read some of the Manson trial and Dohrn comments about the Manson family
You’ll also need to know Manson occupation and his connections in that industry which I be known since college
It can be googled
Then google his California dreaming friends and connect them to the cult
Easy peasy! And lots of fun stuff along the way!
B Dohrn made remarks favorable to the killing of Sharon Tate by the Manson family. I’ll source this commentary in a moment. Of course, B. Dohrn is Bill Ayers wife.
On a completely different note: the Unitarian church that Obama (or whatever his name is) went to Sunday school at in Hawaii, also took in U.S. military deserters recruited by the SDS, and gave sanctuary to draft dodgers. The SDS- the forerunner to The Weathermen, and... the Weather Underground. He (B. O.) was 11 at the time.
Here it is-
At a 1969 “War Council” in Flint, Michigan, Weatherman leader Bernardine Dohrn (currently a law professor at Northwestern University and a Board member of the ACLU) praised the serial murderer Charles Manson and his accomplices: “Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into the victim’s stomach. Wild.” She then proclaimed that the time had come to launch a war against “Amerikkka” (Weatherman always spelled “America” this way, to convey the groups belief that the nation was ineradicably racist to its core). Toward this end, Dohrn advocated the formation of an even more radical Weather Underground cult to carry out covert terrorist activities rather than public acts of protest. By early 1970, her wish would be realized.

Here’s the link to the Obama-Ayers relationship in it’s infancy. It’s quite indirect but an 11 year old is very impressionable.

It’s a shame you have to put up w childish name-calling/put downs. I notice the ‘can’t we all just get along’ crowd is MIA when you are the target and a favorite is taking the pot shots. You handled it w class. Here’s hoping for fewer personal smears, but I’m not holding my breath.
